Lovely vacation spot!
Beautiful location! We enjoyed daily walks on the beach and enjoyed relaxing both inside and outside this seaside cottage. It is very well equipped and the hosts are very welcoming. We’re hoping to return again next year! Plus, you need to try out MacDonald’s Bakery in Montague - so many delicious treats to pick from!! Enjoy!!

Wonderful!!
This spot did not disappoint! We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and numerous walks on the beach. The place was spotless with all the creature comforts - we cooked, and relaxed. We especially liked the propane fire place on the cooler evenings. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we already booked a stay for the spring! Very restorative stay!! Jackie & Phil

Absolutely Amazing!
Tracy and Jerry’s Sunshine Beach House is a rare gem - sparkling clean and very tastefully decorated. All amenities are in excellent condition; the kitchen is perfectly equipped and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. We love to cook and had everything we needed to cook our meals - just like home! Sunshine Beach House is located mere steps from the water. Walking on the ocean floor, at low tide, is priceless!! Coffee on the deck, watching the sun rise to the sound of the ocean, is amazing! And, the sunsets are spectacular! Tracy is truly a super host-very personable and welcoming. Her attention to detail is truly remarkable! There were lots of brochures and helpful information on what to see and do. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay at the ocean! We spent the most amazing 10 days here! It was too short! We highly recommend Tracy and Jerry as hosts and their property, Sunshine Beach House, for a wonderful holiday in Belle River, PEI! You will not be disappointed! Thank you, Tracy and Jerry! We hope to see you again! David and Rose

Prince Edward Island Treasure!
Staying at Sunshine Beach House was a wonderful experience. The property is well maintained and our host Tracy is a very talented artist and it is evident in how the house is decorated. Warm, welcoming and very well stocked, the house is located on a bluff above the beach overlooking the Northumberland Strait. A beautiful setting. The house is located close to several picturesque lighthouses and the Northumberland Ferry to Nova Scotia. Charlottetown is just a 50-60 minute drive away. Lastly, Tracy was an excellent host. Timely in her responses and very welcoming. All our questions were handled quickly and efficiently. This property is a gem and one to definitely consider if coming to PEI. If traveling with more than two, do take note that there is just one bathroom to share. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

An absolute dream spot
Sunshine Beach House is quite literally the best experience we had renting a cottage - ever. The property is absolutely immaculate, and stunningly gorgeous. The decor is beautiful. It’s obvious that a lot of thought went into making sure that guests are comfortable and there are so many little touches that go above and beyond. The cottage is in a great spot, feels private, but it really close to so many destination spots. We enjoyed lobster rolls at Treena’s, hikes on the Confederation Trail, days in Charlottetown and being able to pop down to the Red & White for quick grocery pick ups. Tracy and Jerry were always quick to respond to any questions, and provided a ton of information about the area. This made making decisions about where to go and what to see so much easier. Thank you both once again for a heavenly week - we’d consider ourselves lucky to be able to visit you again!!!

The most perfect vacation house!
We had a wonderful experience at the Sunshine Beach House! The house is beautifully decorated, with a view from every window that cannot be beat! It was so calming to have that gorgeous water view - we loved sitting out on the spacious deck and exploring the beach only a few steps away. The house has all the amenities you need, which made our trip even more relaxing. It truly felt like being at home! Tracy went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely vacation, and she was so helpful and timely with any communication. Her suggestions in the guest book were excellent - we even went horseback riding on a beautiful trail! The house has a great location - close to Wood Islands, a cidery and winery, and the great towns of Montague and Georgetown. It was also not a long drive to all the fun in Charlottetown. Would recommend this house to all - we will be back!

Perfect Getaway
The house was immaculate and decorated so beautifully. The kitchen had everything we needed for when we wanted to cook. Pure Magic
This home was the perfect home away from home. The hosts thought of everything (read the recommendations in the welcome book!). I was delighted to discover supplies to make pour over coffee, and my hubby was pleased to have his brewed in a pot. Our teenagers were in heaven with a much better internet connection than expected, and our 3 year old was thrilled by the pile of sand at the top of the path that led to the beach (a spot that allowed the parents to enjoy time sitting in the yellow chairs without worrying about him jumping in the ocean). The beds were amazingly comfy, and the furniture thoughtfully selected - I could have slept on the couch quite happily. The location is very close to the ferry to Nova Scotia, so keep that in mind if you are planning to island hop. GREAT spot - plan on staying a while!

perfect getaway
We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren playing on the beach. They played soccer on the grass and the house is beautiful, like out of a magazine. Falling asleep listening to the waves was magical, and lovely sunsets. Ate chowder and lobster rolls from Point Prim on a few occasions! A special place to make memories. Karen Watts

The Perfect Retreat
We had been looking forward to staying at the Beach House for so long and it far exceeded our expectations!! Hosts: The hosts were incredibly helpful and kind. We were lucky enough to meet them walking on the beach and they were so lovely. They seemed so genuine and excited for us to spend our with there. Throughout this whole process they have been so amazing and helpful. Property: The property was incredible. Everything is styled so beautifully while still being warm and inviting. It is both exactly like the pictures and somehow more. It has EVERYTHING you could possibly need and I mean everything! Parents don’t worry there are tons of things for your kids to use, they’ve thought of everything. I found myself wandering around taking note of things I wanted to find to bring back home. I have a kettle being shipped as we speak! The views are stunning, especially at sunset and you can hear the waves at night from the main bedroom. The Beach: There is absolutely nothing better than being literally right on a beach. While PEI has lots of beautiful beaches, if you have kids not having to pack up everything and drive to a beach or walk a mile down a dirt road is worth everything! It was sandy and the kids enjoyed swimming and building sandcastles. The highlight however was whenever the tide went out. We found sea glass galore, beautiful shells and even a message in the bottle. We walked for miles finding treasures, digging for clams and playing with little hermit crabs. It was such a magic experience. The location: We purposefully picked the east side of the island to get away from the crowds in the centre of the island and to enjoy quieter, warmer, waters and we don’t regret it at all. We went out exploring almost every day and found amazing beaches, lighthouses and parks. We enjoyed talking to locals and finding quiet and delicious places to eat. We did go visit Anne of Green Gables and even with small children the drive wasn’t that long. I’m sure all parts of PEI are beautiful, but I will always have a place in my heart for this quiet corner full of people who live and love this island year round. I had a list of things to see and do spread around the island and 90% of it was checked off just on our beach. The week was practically perfect and filled our hearts so much. We are so thankful for opportunity to stay here.

5*+. Great beach house experience. There is a lot of love put into this residence. Extremely comfortable with all the nice touches. I loved my morning coffee on the Muskoka chairs by the beach. Perfect spot for a PEI beach vacation
When you arrive at a rental property, you hope it’s as good as the photos in the listing. We had high expectations arriving at the Sunshine Beach House, and the property exceeded them! What a wonderful spot. So airy, and you can see the water from all the south and east-facing windows. You can hear the waves on the shore as you go to sleep and as you wake up. The house has been carefully decorated—well appointed, but casual and comfortable. It’s all the details that stick with us: the kitchen is *fully* stocked; everything in the house is labeled and exactly where you hoped it would be; there’s an outdoor shower for washing off sand and salt; there are beach shoes in the shed; there’s a tide clock, so you know how soon the water will turn. The hosts are terrific. Friendly, responsive to inquiries, happy to pass on suggestions, a delight to deal with. 10/10.

You could not find a more perfect vacation spot than Sunshine beach house. Everything and more 😊
If you are looking for a tranquil, peaceful spot, this is the place!! Tracy and Jerry’s place is such a gem. Waterfront views, beach access, modern and clean amenities. The perfect summer kick off
We couldn't have asked for anything more from our stay at Sunshine Beach House! Even before we arrived, Tracy was in touch was some great tips and recommendations. The house is big, absolutely immaculate, perfectly located, beautifully decorated, and has literally everything you could ever need on a vacation (and all of it was perfectly organized, too). Tracy and Jerry were kind enough to connect with some expert local tips on clamming (right in the "backyard"!!) and even delivered some cream for our coffee when we didn't have any. The house was a bit far from some of the things we wanted to do, but that didn't stop us from exploring the island. Plus ... we wouldn't have had nearly as peaceful and as clam-filled a visit had we stayed in a busier part of the island, so the extra few minutes of driving on occasion was well worth it! Absolutely can't wait to go back to Sunshine Beach House and hopefully stay for even longer next time. What an amazing way to kick off our summer!!

Beautiful Beech House with Stunning Views
Sunshine Beach House exceeded expectations! It has amazing views, a great beach, and it was very clean. We couldn`t believe how well stocked it was. We can't wait to go back! Dream vacation
A year ago I decided I would take a dream vacation somewhere on the ocean. I found the Sunshine Beach House on the Internet, and never having been to PEI before, decided to give it a try. Well every expectation went beyond my dreams. Not only did I find a lovely house on the sea, everything was so nice: cleanliness, a fully equipped kitchen, a view of the sea from every window of living quarters, Tracy making regular checks on my comfort! I will never forget my daily 6 km walks on Stewart Beach, (5 minutes away by car) looking out for seals, and swimming right in front of the house upon returning. 28 days of sunshine(!) and pure delight. Sunshine Beach House
Had a great stay, everything was as advertised. Beautiful views, great beach area, very relaxing. Owners are very responsive and wonderful to deal with. Will definitely stay again!!

Amazing and Relaxing Island Getaway A+++
The Sunshine beach house was an Absolutely amazing vacation ! One that we hope to re-visit soon :) As far as Rental properties go , this in my books is a turn-key experience . You get exactly what you pay for , but it seems like even more . The property looks wonderful in the pictures , but when you arrive and see/ experience it in person , the pictures do not do it justice . It is an amazing place to have for yourself while visiting PEI . Modern design , pristinely clean on arrival, calming ocean theme , Complete amenities - absolutely everything you need is right there for you! Beachfront , private space ( indoor and out ) , tons of room , awesome sunsets over the water . Plenty of activities inside and out . And Located in a very peaceful area of the Island . You really cant ask for more ! Perfect for all types of families - Young or Old From start to finish - It was a very enjoyable experience . The Hosts have thought of everything - and clearly they have a passion for the Beach / Island that they want to share with others in a Beautiful property and setting . I was glad to be able to enjoy my week there , but was a little sad it had to end :/ Thanks so much Jerry and Tracey We Definitely plan to return :)

A perfect backdrop for beautiful memories
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Sunshine Beach House late August/early September in 2020. Our infant son was turning 2 and given the Covid situation and the Atlantic bubble, we were looking for a getaway suitable for our family (myself, my spouse and our son) as well as my parents for a week. Sunshine Beach House was the perfect getaway! The views are spectacular. Morning coffee and evening sunsets at the adirondack chairs, listening to the surf lap at the shore from the comfort of your bedroom/porch (or anywhere on the beach or property, for that matter), the skies are sufficiently dark at night for proper stargazing even with a warming bonfire... there's really not much else one could want for when planning a quiet getaway. The property itself is very modern and well appointed, extremely comfortable. It's the perfect setting for a relaxing time away. The kitchen is well stocked, there are many options for keeping the kids active & occupied, the beds and pillows are melt-your-stress-away good. While we were looking for something of a 'remote' outing, it is also worth noting that you're really no further than 30 minutes out from several communities - so whatever you are looking for, you'll find it. As hosts, the Carrs are extremely responsive and obviously love their time running the property. It's plainly evident that they want you & your family to enjoy the very most of your vacation, and they do an exemplary job of sharing this special place with you. In every way, our hopes and expectations for the vacation were exceeded. And, my guess is - yours will be too. Don't hesitate! As in most things, the truest test as to whether or not you enjoyed yourself is if you'd be back - returning to the 'regular' grind, we're already daydreaming about a return to Sunshine Beach House.

Flawless experience
One of our favourite spots in the world! We’ve stayed at the Sunshine Beach House twice and can’t wait to come back. The house is beautiful, well equipped and was absolutely pristine on arrival. The property is ideal for our young family: quiet and private, tons of space for the kids to run around, safe and easy beach access, and miles of sandy shoreline to explore. Tracy was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the entire process and went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied. We would recommend the Sunshine Beach House without hesitation!

Gorgeous
Sunshine Beach house is the perfect place to spend a vacation. It is bright, immaculate and beautifully appointed. The hosts thought of absolutely everything to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. We have stayed in many nice vacation rentals but this one was in a different league. Highly recommended!

Absolutely incredible PEI vacation!
Let me start by saying that Tracy and Jerry thought of everything from the beach decor to the welcome gifts and enabled us to have our best PEI vacation ever by sharing their slice of paradise. The cottage was beyond our expectations and the beach was essentially our own private oasis. That might be due to COVID, but regardless, the beach was beautiful and afforded lots of opportunity to relax and explore. The cottage, beach, and hospitality of Tracy and Jerry was second to none. If you want an exceptional PEI adventure then look no further than Sunshine Beach House! Thank you!

Don't Miss This Place!
I'm not sure the superlatives exist to describe our experience at Tracy and Jerry's Sunshine Beach House! Their hospitality, the ambiance of the house and the perfect location for exploring the island converged to make our honeymoon even more than we had imagined. It was our dream come true! The house is perfectly appointed with no details left undone including very special touches just for us (Champagne and a Congratulations Card!) We had a long day of air travel from Dallas to Toronto to Halifax with a drive to the ferry. It was absolutely wonderful to make the ferry crossing at sunset and only drive 10 minutes from the landing at Wood Islands to the house. We feel like the location allowed us to maximize our time on PEI. Tracy's hospitality was over the top answering all of our questions about best places to eat, and drink and visit enriching our experience and giving us a life time of very special memories. My only hesitation in writing this review is that Sunshine Beach House will become so popular we can't get reserve for our return trip - which can't come soon enough! Thank you Carrs!

Tracy has done a wonderful job with the cottage. It is in an amazing location with some of the most beautiful sunsets. The cottage was the best stocked rental I have ever rented. Thanks for all the special touches and treats!

Our PEI Adventure
Delightful home with everything as promised. The Welcome Booklet with amenities and details of how to really enjoy our stay was terrific. And dinner at the Point Prim chowder house was outstanding. We don’t usually stay for desert and coffee but you won’t want to miss the opportunity to linger longer and catch the sunset. It was spectacular. We beachcombed, read and relaxed taking in the beauty of the strait. Terrific location and wonderful home. Thanks Tracy and Gerry for all the little touches that make a big difference. Cheers. Ted.

The Sunshine Beachhouse in Belle River was Fantastic!
Our experience renting the Sunshine beach house could not have went any better. From the point we booked, communication was consistent and concise. Tracy and Jerry should create a Hospitality course curriculum for others to learn from. The Beachhouse itself has everything one would require on Vacation in PEI and is very well thought out. The location is quiet and relaxing and the beach is beautiful! Thank you Sunshine Beachhouse, I look forward to seeing you again!

Great beach house
Very nice, comfortable and spotless house. Great views, enjoy the ocean in your backyard. This was our first time in PEI and this was such a nice place to stay and enjoy the island from. So many nice touches from both Tracy and Jerry to make you feel welcome and at home. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Couldn’t have asked for more
Wonderful beach house with all we needed. Tracy and Jerry were very accessible and went out of their way to ensure we had all we needed. We had plans to explore more of PEI but fell in love with the setting and ended up spending much of the time on the gorgeous beach right outside. We can’t wait to come back again soon. Highly recommended.

Perfect PEI beach home
We stayed for seven days and nights with our family. We have stayed properties all over Canada, Europe, and the US and this home is one of best ever. It is spotless, beautiful, and perfectly appointed. Everything you need — from a French coffee press to a tea pot to beach towels and bug spray — is there and organized and labeled. The beds are super comfortable, the towels and linens are cotton, the furnishings are sturdy and lovely. The outdoors are just stunning. We spent lots of time on the beach and in the sprawling yard, especially at the fire pit. Our recommendations: The folks at Cooper’s Market are the best. Shop there for what you need. Same for the Pont Prim Chowder House. Amazingly friendly folks and great food and atmosphere. Visit Belfast Mini Mill and get the tour. Tracy, thanks for a great stay. We will be back!

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. If someone is looking to be away from the business of life but not be to far from the regular conveniences while enjoying the beauty of the ocean, this certainly is the place. Tracy was great to communicate with and available if needed.
