Bien localisé près du lac, très tranquille, beau solarium. Dans les points à améliorer il y aurait le matelas du lit et la performance du lave-vaisselle.

Family Oriented

Two large areas of little cottages, meadow and forest, swimming pool, workout area, fire pits, barbecues and lake. Must sign an extensive contract as the cottages are privately owned. No housekeeping and when leaving must strip beds, set the dishwasher, and deposit recyclables and garbage yourself. Lovely to walk around, closest services and groceries are in Picton about 13 km away. Security in and out. Would be great for families.

A great weekend getaway or family holiday!

Great stay. Cottage was clean and well equipped for cooking. Resort had a great workout room, pool and friendly staff. More like a condo then a cottage, the best of both!

Exceptionally clean cottage

Upon walking into our cottage, we felt at home! The cottage was immaculate, decorated tastefully and incredibly clean. You never know what you're going to get when renting a cottage, so we were extremely satisfied with how clean it was! Great place to stay with lots of amenities. Will definitely be back!

Quiet and comfortable.

Beautiful two bedroom cottage with all you need to relax. Close to Picton and Sandbanks Very friendly staff... Would definitely stay here again

Close to beach, quiet cottage village

It's a cottage resort village, easy to find. Good amenities, friendly staff, our cottage is #20 close to front door further from the besch, very nice and clean. It has everything you need for cottage gateway.

Beware of hidden fees

Read the fine print - there's an $80 cleaning charge on top of what you pay for the rental. The units are nice and new, but can be sparsely furnished. Sheets and towels were missing, and the BBQ was broken. Only very basic kitchen supplies provided too - if you need anything, be sure to bring it with you.

Pleasant surprise

This was definitely a pleasant surprise. Stayed for 2 nights with my Wife and daughter specifically to do a wine tour of the area. The cottage was immaculate, with nice open plan kitchen and dining/living area. 2 nice sized bedrooms, with the added bonus of a gas BBQ outside for use. A few mins stroll to the lake, our cottage was ideally positioned, with lots of sunshine. (The cottages actually closer to the lake were quite dark in the trees). Incidentally, the wine tour with PEC was very good indeed. As the season was a little quiet, we were upgraded to the 'Limo' tour free of charge, and our driver/guide Dave was brilliant. Recommended!

New cottage close to Sandbanks, but misleading

The cottage was great for simple reason of being so new it had a new house smell. Location was great, a 12 min drive to Sandbanks Provincial Park and under 15 min from Picton. Loved that we can sign out park permits everyday. Playground onsite was great for kids. Family pool looked beautiful but we didn't get a chance to try because of weather. There is also basketball, tennis,floor hockey and other equip free for use. This would get top marks if there services were as advertised. We were attracted by the descriptions of organized activities (front desk said to check the activity area for postings, and the activity area was empty) - our guess is there are only organized activities during the summer (we were there mid June 2016), but if that was the case, they should have advertised as such instead of making organized activities a selling point. The adult "infinity" pool and hot tub were closed, and although we were not there for those facilities, felt that again, it was advertised in a misleading way. Also, we didn't mind but it is still a bit of a construction site

A Wonderful Thanksgiving

We thoroughly enjoyed our autumn weekend. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The ladies at reception were helpful and well informed. It was in an ideal location since we were visiting family to celebrate Thanksgiving. We would definitely book it again.

LOVE Sandbanks Summer Cottages!

Our stay at Sandbanks Summer Cottages was totally relaxing and enjoyable. We loved the spacious cottages and the surrounding area. Everything is right at your fingertips and it's definitely a place we'll be returning to!

Nice resort, very kid friendly

Nice resort, very kid friendly. Less than 10 mins away from sandbanks park and the beaches. Very comfortable little cottages. Only complaint was that the ceiling fans very extremely dusty (couldn't even turn them on) and even after advising the front desk, no one came to clean them so we ended up doing it ourselves. But would still recommend resort!
