DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA!! We booked the hotel for 1 night and when we arrived the customer service representative at the front desk informed us they are not registered with Expedia and they do not have a booking for us even though I pre-paid on Expedia. Expedia informed me that it is a non-refundable booking. Where did my money go? Expedia is now looking into the issue. The hotel name has changed and the phone number has also changed...even the color of the building is different now. We ended up booking a night through the front desk since there was space available and we were already there, this room cost us twice the amount advertised on Expedia. The room is not well maintained and niether was the pool. There was no fridge in the room and there was mouse or lizzard poop on our bed. The room and bathroom also had a smell. They did provide us with clean towels and a fresh set of sheets when we asked. The restaurant food was good and affordable. The location of the hotel is pretty good, walking distance to restuarants and the beach.

Полное отсутствие интернета!!!!!!Его нет от слова совсем!Это все минусы.Дальше плюсы.Очень большой номер!Очень чистая и удобная кровать-просто отоспались и ничто не мешало вообще-петухи,собаки,стуки в коридоре,соседи....их не слышно,Бассейн -просто супер.Далеко от пляжа-это фишка для всех отелей бинаулима либо центре, либо далеко от него. И еще...для любителей ездить с мультиварками-таки есть для вас все!Есть где в номере расположиться и есть где все для этого купить,Овощи,фрукты,свежая кура (около кадара),молоко...НО! имейти ввиду ,что до пляжа минут 10-15 по жаре .И цены в местных кафе самые низкие ,по сравнению с Палолемом,Арамболем и тем более Кандолимом

Disappointed

Check in at the hotel was done by a young man who had to be woken up from the sofa in the reception, to let us in, and was slow. He is no longer employed here. On going to the room to say I was disappointed is an understatement, the room is large but dull and shabby, it stunk of smoke , there were no towels or toilet roll, my partner had to go down and get them. The kettle in the room does not switch of so has to be watched, no cups, there is a cupboard in the room with a hanging rail but not what I would call a wardrobe. The curtain pole was hanging down and the lining on the curtains are stained. The fridge was small. This hotel is also very noisy, sounds travel around the building as there is nothing to buffer it. A good point is that the staff are great and very helpful and friendly. The towels and linen are changed every day but again ithe linen is shabby and could do with being renewed. To me it was expensive compared to others I have since looked at.

・11日間滞在したが、Wi-Fiが何とか使用出来たのは最初の３日間だけ、それも部屋では使用できず、 　狭いロビーの椅子だけ、メールは受信出来なかった。このホテルでのWi-Fiは殆ど受信不可能。 ・滞在期間中、プールには水が入っておらず、泳げない。 ・レストランは廃業されている。 ・トイレットペーパーは部屋の清掃に来ても補充せず、請求しなければくれなかった。 ・部屋のベランダへのガラス戸、錠が壊れており、施錠出来ず不安なので修理するように 　初日に依頼したが、修理されず、11日間施錠出来ないままであった。(205号室） ・テレビには部品（ブゥスター等）が３何個も垂れ下がり、見かけが悪い。 ・部屋は清潔でコンセントも多く便利。洗面所はお湯が出て、シャワーとトイレの区切りの壁もあり、便器の床が濡れず快適！ ・停電時でも、洗面所、ベッドの上の２ヶ所の電気、、ファン、コンセント各１ヶ所、は使用出来て助かった。 ・海岸まではホテルから徒歩で１２分、海は波が少し高く泳ぐには・・・不向きかな～波と戯れて十分楽しめます。 ・スーパーマーケット、酒屋、野菜屋も直ぐ近くで便利,レストランは徒歩１０分。 ・このホテルは,Ｗｉ-Ｆｉ、プール以外は問題なく他の客にも推薦出来ます。 ・このホテルは「時々、プールとWi-Fiあり」なので、この２件は情報案内からは外すべき、誤情報を掲載したのは貴社の責任。 ・１１日間滞在したが問題はＷｉ-Ｆｉで、使用出来ないのが分かっていたら、このホテルは選ばなかった。 ・貴社の情報は信用できず、今後は使用しない、

Clean and central

We got off to a bad start at the hotel,didn't have a room ready etc,it was 0230 but eventually sorted the problem out.please bear in mind you are not entitled to a free breakfast.the deluxe room in my opinion was not worth the extra cost.all the staff were very helpful and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable 10/10.we did eventually as compensation get a free breakfast for our stay.the restaurant on site is great value for money,santa,kuma were fantastic at serving us really made eating there memorable well done

Great location, great restaurant

Really happy with this hotel, fantastic location in the heart of the village with lots of good restaurants on the doorstep. The rooms are large with a great shower, real mattress, fridge, tv , ac and fan. They could do with a lick of paint and a nicer pair of curtains but windows, floors etc are nice. The beach is a 10 minute walk away or a 50 rupee rickshaw ride. The pool is a real bonus and the restaurant is very good. Village life is great and vibrant.

Staff were friendly and very obliging. Room was spacious but needed what my mum would say as A GOOD BOTTOMING. Would probably give it a miss next tome in India.

Great wee place!!

We had a great time at star of the sea hotel! Lovely little place. The staff were very nice and kind! Hotel was perfectly placed for a great holiday!

faulty towers,

2 towels went for cleaning each day, replacements were available 5pm from reception, brown stains on 1 towel replaced straight away, yuck, bed pillows were stained, room was smelly, cleaned daily but with no disinfectant on floor or toilet

Отель бронировал через хотел.ком. Приличный небольшой отель. В номере убирались каждый день, для Азии вполне чистый. Территория отеля небольшая , но опрятная, чистый бассейн.

Good hotel for Goan standards.

The only thing i can moan about were the other guests having no consideration for other people staying there mostly the Indians. The beds are very comfortable, nice clean pool, bed linen changed daily, a little more attention could have been taken on the cleaning of the rooms(bleach, toilet etc) but for Indian standards not bad. Staff very friendly and food in The Blue Lagoon restaraunt was excellent! The hotel was in the perfect place for bars n beach!

Close to benalium beach

Never visit Goa during monsoon because most of the restaurants and shops are closed..the main purpose of booking this hotel is that it had a swimming pool and the expedia tele caller confirmed that it had a swimming pool and working, but unfortunately, the pool was so filthy and staff recommended not to use it, my kids were disappointed. Therefore, during rainy days we had nothing to do, can't go out and also can't use the swimming pool. No restaurant in the hotel during off season.

Big disapointment

Arrived at the hotel on November 28th 2013 after a two week whistle stop tour of the North of India. We realised that we would need a restful, relaxing week after completing such a hectic schedule. Realising this we booked well in advance and paid the maximum price for a deluxe room ensuring a comfortable stay. We sent an email a week before leaving the UK to confirm our requirements. On arrival we were allocated a room which was as far from a "deluxe room" as you could get. It was a small and pokey place with hardly enough room for our luggage never mind us. We explained to the staff that we knew what the standard of their deluxe rooms should be and where they should be situated as we had stayed at the hotel in a deluxe room two years before. No amount of arguing or complaining would persuade them to move us to the correct room. They insisted that this room was up to their deluxe standard which it certainly wasn't. We had to accept what they said as we had paid in advance and we were too tired to move anywhere else. Chatting to regular guests at the hotel confirmed our suspicions that we were indeed installed in one of the cheaper rooms. They added that all the deluxe rooms were pre-booked and reserved for regular guests and for customers of a Russian tour company. We left feeling angry and cheated and worse, feeling stupid that we had even listened to their explanations. They take you money and insult your intelligence.

15-20 minutes far from Benalium beach....

Yeah..... We have awesome experience of GOA, none of us want to return back. Easy availability of vehicles, drivers, supportive nature of them, cool whether, and awesome sight of sea touched our heart deeply.
