"This is a cost effective, authentic and developing Africa. That means the staff will warm up to you with smiles, try their best to be hepful and constructions every where. The accomodation satisfies your basic needs of a central location: (motorbikes of a US dollar will take you everywhere central), a clean place, hot water for wash and shower, a big, firm but comfortable bed. Because the road is under construction in front means no noise at night so great sleep but a bit difficult to get back at night as motorcycles do not have smartphones or GPS. So get your landmark picture ready see below and the name is Boulevard des Amis. I used the JNP station and the saucer tower as landmark to the motorbikes. They changed me from a room with little light to a brighter and larger more comfortable room with even BBC english channel and a fridgr for drinks which I was thankful. I was comfortable enough to extend my nights every night in Benin from one to four nights. The hotel picks you up for free (how refreshing to see your name on a sign in Africa!) and cost less than 10USD back to airport. This is authentic low cost Africa or you can stay at the many times more expensive Novotel or Sofitel, or you can save your money and eat there (therefore didn't have food problems in Benin and hotel has no mosquito problem if you keep the windows closed at hours with dim light). It was a good experience"
