“Near the end of the road (and well off of it) and at the base of Dorset Peak, this studio was an excellent spot for a quiet getaway. The main house is within view, but only as much as an average neighbor would be. It's one room, but it's above a three+ stall garage and PLENTY big enough for a full kitchen, dining table, two large beds, a wood burning fireplace and sitting area. “Great, large apartment in downtown Bennington, Vermont. Walk to restaurants and shops. Short drive to area attractions. Small amount of traffic noise did not bother us at all. We slept well each night.”

“The converted upstairs apartment of a quintessential green barn is surrounded by all sides by picturesque views of the mountains. The setting is private; the host checked in but wasn’t obtrusive; and the field with the Adirondack chairs made our visit! The unit was a little challenging with young kids because it only has a shower, but we made it work for a long weekend.”

Loved the sound of the river behind the apartment, loved how spacious the space was, and the proximity to town(walkable).We had everything we needed there to cook a meal when we arrived. The weather was unexpectedly warm when we arrived and the host offered to install the AC’s the next day but with a fan in the window we slept comfortably. Truly a lovely space! I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and this is one of the best.”

“This place was a gem. The location was great. We were 2-3 blocks from the Main Street and it was an easy walk to great restaurants. The space was on the second floor of a house. The house was clean, neat and well stocked with everything you need for cooking. (Even some condiments, cooking oils and sugar, and then some.)
