Room was clean and comfortable, but good use some updates/TLC. Jacuzzi tub was amazing. Gas fireplace was a nice touch. Staff was super friendly and check in was very easy (we did the pre-registration through the links sent by hotel).

Everything was wonderful with the exception of the wild weather. The room was beautiful, clean and quiet. Never had a bad experience here. Will be back again and again. Love So Ha and the Lake Bluff.

I’ve never felt so deceived by a so called Hotel on this site!! When I found out that this was once a Motel, I was not surprised and it should NEVER be claim to be Luxury Inn & Suites!! It is the farthest thing from Luxury. We were supposed to have a Lake View. The only view of the lake was a back 4x6 window high up near the closet outside the bathroom. It said jetted tub, which yes my mistake, in thinking it would be like a Jacuzzi that my finance & I could enjoy together. Instead it was a small tub/shower in the bathroom that I myself would only be able to sit in. The fireplace would not turn on. We called front desk & were told the room temperature was probably too high so fireplace will not turn on. We had to air on to lower temperature just to enjoy a fire on what should have been a Romantic Valentines & birthday celebration. Fireplace finally turned on but only for an hour because then the room temperature got too high again which was only 74 degrees. They say they have a gym which appears to be a renovated garage but there were stacks of drywall in the middle of the area to workout. Morning came & we hoped to enjoy a cup of coffee outside on the deck but unfortunately another guest was out on deck with the lake view smoking which was an awful smell. After leaving I noticed I may have left an expensive jacket behind. Since we were already more than 30min away, we called to check if the jacket was there before we turned around to get it. They wouldn’t look. We had go bac

The room was in poor shape. Items had been torn off the wall and replaced in another location without repairing the damaged area. NONE of the water/drink machines work.(I checked them all!!) ice maker did not work. Not somewhere I would stay again or recommend.

We had an awesome stay this past weekend! It was the perfect amount of peace and quiet that we were looking for. Our room was really nice and had a great view. The bed was also super comfortable! 10/10 from me and I’m excited to come back soon :)

We got the room because it had a jacuzzi in it. When we went to use it, the jets didn't work. So I paid a premium for something I didn't get. Maintenance came to look at it but could not get it going. They said that we could move to another room but we decided not to since it was late and already unpacked. Also, the renters above us decided to have a party and kept us up all night.

When we got there we could not get into the room. We were given keys and it was a keyless entry so I had to get on the phone to communicate to the front office. Then we had to drive back to the office to pick up key cards. And those did not work. All while standing outside in a snow storm. The other room we rented to friends did not work. They had to replace those locks so they were put into a different room away from all of us staying. We had 4 rooms total. The lady at the front desk was very apologetic about everything. I feel like we should have had some type of compensation. The ice machine was not operational, the hot tub was not hot. The panel for the water in the bathroom was on the floor when we walked in. There was also a humming in the room continuously all the time. My husband and I didn’t even sleep. We were just waiting to leave with our other company who drove. We would have left that night if we would have driven. Again no reflection on the lady in the office but I would not choose to go back.

We rented a room for one night. We thought we were getting the room shown in the picture. It was deceiving and the cost we paid was way hirer then it originally said. The fire place didn’t work, our view was a pop machine, not the lake as shown in the pic. Also thought we were getting a balcony and that didn’t happen either.

I wanted the room for the indoor hot tub. It didn’t work at all the first night. Maintenance reset the main breaker the next day. That night it worked for a few minutes before tripping again. I had hoped they would “make it right”. They did not. I’m very disappointed.

We love it here. Everything is perfect. The rooms, the views, the peacefulness. If I could make a suggestion it would be to add an interior lock for the room doors. Having just the knob lock made us nervous. But otherwise I couldn't even try to come up with anything I dislike about this place!

The sunset view was beautiful, the room was very comfortable and easy access to the pool, firepit and hot tub. Short drive for dining and entertainment in south haven downtown. Patty at front desk was very nice and informative. It was very peaceful and relaxing and thats what I was looking for. Will definitely return in future.

The location of this inn is scenic looking out the Michigan Lake on top of a bluff. This was the reason why my wife and I decided to stay in this inn. But we had a very unpleasant check in experience. The room that was given to us was NOT the one that we paid to hotels.com. We booked and paid for an upscale lake-view room having a jacuzzi and a view to the lake. The room that was given to us had no jacuzzi, no view to the lake, and dilapidated interior facilities and stinking smell. When I talked to the receptionist that a wrong room was given to us, she replied that when guests book an upgraded room through a third party booking sites such as hotels.com, they still get the cheapest room. A total nonsense. And she said that to get an upgraded room, like one I paid for, I must paid an up-charge. Not to stay a night in a stinking room and to ruin a vacation, I paid the upcharge to get a room that I already paid. A bitter experience. The photos below are the cheap room given to us initially.
