This property is falsely advertised and should not be listed as a “resort.” I booked a stay from March 31–April 2 based on amenities like a bar, café, water sports, and premium bedding—all of which were nonexistent or not functioning.
Upon arrival around 5 PM, it was immediately clear the property did not match the listing. The unit was in poor condition: the toilet had visible stains, the kitchen sink had buildup, the fridge did not work, & the bedding was hard and outdated. There was no microwave or dishwasher as listed.
The only on-site staff member acknowledged the property’s condition &confirmed that many advertised amenities are no longer available. There was no bar, restaurant, café, or water sports (just a single float). Despite a “no pets” policy, a guest nearby had a dog.
Safety was also a concern. The staff member left around 6 PM, leaving the property unattended with no assistance available, which made me feel unsafe as a woman.
The owner was rude, dismissive, & unhelpful, offering no real solution beyond allowing me to leave. Despite this, the listing continues to advertise amenities that do not exist. Expedia also failed to properly verify the listing and initially relied solely on the owner’s claims despite clear evidence.
I left the same evening.
I am an avid traveler & expect a clean, functional, and safe stay. This property failed on all counts. Do not stay here—especially if you are a woman traveling alone. Expedia refunded my payment…eventually …
