The neighborhood was quiet and the location was perfect for us as we were visiting our son in Charles Town but also wanted some time in Shepherdstown. “This is just what my partner and I wanted. The cabin is cozy, clean and comfortable on a peaceful, well-maintained property, surrounded by nature. The fireplace operates on gas, so you won’t need firewood. If you plan on doing some cooking, you might want to bring a good chef’s knife, but the kitchen is pretty well equipped. No complaints! Perhaps we’ll return”

“My family and I booked this place for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was very well stocked! The kitchen is beautiful, and there is plenty of space for everyone! The basement was well stocked for the kids and kept them occupied even on a rainy day. Beds were comfortable. Be warned about gathering in the living room at night, as the master bedroom is a loft and can hear everything happening in the living room. Overall a gorgeous place that has all the amenities one could ask for. We want to come back...

We enjoyed every amenity this home had to offer - from the hot tub, pool table, well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds to the gorgeous views from the deck. Our hosts were attentive and helpful. “We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub.
