Short Holiday in Berlin

Arriving after a long day of traveling and rushing to get in to the Appartment at 16:00 (as according to all online communication) and then not being able to access the Apartment via the sent code was extremely nerve wrecking and very frustrating. Also had no access to Wi-Fi and TV as this was only available the next day when we had once again asked what was happening.From then on living in the Apartment felt comfortable and we felt at home.Wrt the surrounds it was okay, the fact that the nearest U-Bahn station (Seestraße was not available- due to construction) was rather inconvenient.I hope this feedback was useful in some way.

Das Appartement liegt in einer Nebenstraße und die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist sehr gut. Alles ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief problemlos.

Great place in a nice quite street

We were in Berlin for a glass art conference at Berlin Glas. This spot was nice and close to the tram so it was quick and easy to get around. The host was quick to reply when I arrived late and had troubles with the entry code. Very thankful for the quick reply. Pizza spot across the street was open late so was great for a late arrival. Overall great stay. Thank you

Very Clean Apt, but a few snags

Overall, this apartment is beautiful and completely redone in a very nice way. It was very clean when we entered and comfortably fit our part of 6 (3 adults and 3 teens). When I needed to contact the property manager, we emailed and they replied quickly. It was only cumbersome because that had to be done via email; it would be easier with a WhatsApp number for more direct communication. Some areas of need improvement: 1. communication on how to find your apartment. The details were buried within a long email. 2. No apartment numbers are on any of the doors (there were many people within this building who asked for help to find where they were staying for the weekend) 3. No lights were outside of our apartment. This made it difficult to key in the correct code at night and could be a potential safety issue 4. The main door to the building didn't always shut - again a potential safety issue as the building wasn't secure from outside people. And again, without lights at night, it could feel very vulnerable. 5. The title of this ad clearly states A/C and there were two units within the apartment, but they were not working. When I contacted the manager they first told me there were no AC in the apt and then they were broken. Please either fix this or remove it from the AD/apt. People depend on this in the summer. Also, we couldn't just open windows to sleep as we were street level and street facing, it would not have been safe. They did provide fans.

Ground floor missing its promised air conditioning during Berlin’s heat wave but with good landlord efforts to be fair. Well equipped kitchen and bath and good beds. Handy location with transit and shopping.
