“The lodge rooms are superbly quiet with absolutely no road noise although friends staying in the main hotel were disturbed by traffic noise. Lodges are freshly decorated with great bathrooms and excellent daily housekeeping
The continental breakfast had a good selection of fruit and yoghurt. The hot food was cooked to order which I much prefer to buffets. The full Welsh breakfast was quite a meagre portion with poor quality sausage, although the other choices such as poached eggs on brioche...

“Owner Dave and his daughter were extremely friendly and welcoming. Summer Hill Guest House in a very good location to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent and there was a large choice available for all tastes. Parking was good but would be a bit awkward in busy periods.
Room was clean and had a very good shower. We had room 2 and if you're like me 6ft 4 watch your head as you enter...also it would have been better if there was a couple of chairs and table rather then a small fold out...
