“We enjoyed our recent stay in a ground floor, twin bed, en-suite room. There was handy parking, a friendly welcome, a lovely clean and comfortable room, and delicious breakfast. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the room was warm and cosy, and we would be happy to stay again.”

“Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !”

They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. “Mijn 2de keer dat ik heb een overnachting geboekt hier. Mooi schoon kamers. Geweldig pub met lokaal bieren. Geweldig eigenaar en medewerkers. Heel vriendelijke lokale mensen en 5 minuten lopen van het stad centrum. Engels ontbijt van de hoogste niveau voor 9 1/2 pond. Mooi beer garden en gratis parkeren voor gasten. Top top locatie en niet duur.”

“Loved old inn. Staff went over and above to be helpful,dog even had sausage gor breakfast. I found out no lift Expedia said couldn't ca cel without losing my money,when I told them this they said not a problem they would have returned it,again thanks for nothing Expedia. Staff so helpful and helped to get up to bed. Food was to die for had evening meal,lovely fresh cooked menu and breakfast again fabulous. Would recommend and would go again in spite of no lift!”

“It was great being out in the beer garden in the hot weather. Staff were super friendly/helpful! Room was very clean. Only negative feedback was the shower pressure in Room 8 wasn't particularly strong so hard to rinse hair, plus shower head is fixed to wall which didn't help. Will be back”
