Once you conquer the very steep driveway and get into this wood filled wonder, you understand where it got its name. Perched on a steep hillside high above the terrain, the views to the East of the forest below and the Tasman Sea are stunning. The place, itself, is very unique both in its construction and layout. It is well appointed with everything you need and very tastefully decorated with genuine artwork. Some of the small watercolors are truly gems! Dozens of books line shelves everywhere. We had a resident Wallaby just outside each morning we were there. The place is conveniently located about a five minute drive from Bichino, so it is away from most all noise. It is very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. I'd come back here anytime!
