- This delightful cottage is located in the stunning Devonshire countryside, close to the popular village of Hartland as well as a short drive to private village of Clovelly, famous for its cobbled streets. There are several beaches in the area, the closest being Hartland Quay which has spectacular scenery throughout the year, and the large family-friendly beach at Westward Ho! which also boasts two miles of sands and a surfing academy. Slightly further afield is the pretty harbour town of Bideford, narrow winding streets lined with interesting shops makes it a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Or why not take the boat from Bideford Quay, or Ilfracombe, out to the island of Lundy, a beautiful three-mile wide wild island located in the Bristol Channel.
This cottage is approached via your own enclosed lawn area that you enter on the ground floor into the lounge/kitchen/diner. First is the kitchen, which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Walking on, the room widens into a very pleasant double aspect lounge/diner with wood burner effect electric fire, exposed beams, comfy seating and Smart TV and DVD player. A good size dining table makes for easy mealtimes with the family. The staircase leads up to the first floor with two bedrooms, a double and a twin. The stylish shower room with hand basin and WC completes the accommodation.
Stepping outside there is an enclosed lawn area with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ. Guests are able to explore the site and have access to the shared indoor heated swimming pool. You can also enjoy the sauna and hot tub. A separate shared games room is adjacent to the pool area with table tennis, darts and pool table, as well as a comfy seating area and large TV, plenty of books and games are also available and makes a great facility for adults and children alike. A shared utility room is also onsite with washing machines and a tumble dryer. Plus a shared, gated field perfect for exercising the dogs. Ample parking is also available.
