Two of the three bedrooms are dramatic A-frame retreats in their own right, each with a queen bed, high peaked ceilings, rich wood beams, and mountain views out the front. The third bedroom is built for the whole crew, with two twin beds plus a twin-over-twin bunk — perfect for kids, friends, or a full family trip. All told, the cabin sleeps eight, with one full bathroom featuring a shower-and-tub combo.

Step onto the back deck and the name makes sense. Take in the view, ease into the private hot tub, and soak under some of the clearest night skies around. This A-frame is one of the rare ones with both a front yard and a back: open mountain views in front, peaceful forest and towering trees behind. Only about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles, Big Bear Lake is a beautiful and convenient break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
