The office people called to make false accusations.saying that their was a dog. They had a dog. They called me atttacking me and calling me bad names saying they don’t care that they gonna make a police report and just threading me. Bad customer service in the office and just calling my personal phone making false acusations. Their office dog was barking at me and they looked at me like if I was a stranger and did not greet or gave customer service.

I hope I wont see you again in my resort. Make yourself a favor and don't travel or book a room for two and bring 3 extra person sleeping, smoking weed in the room and treat it like is your home because it looks like you guys have a ratonero or mugrero in your home. As we are the owners we have the right to call the number you file on your reservation to let you know how horrible you guys left my cabin, which we have evidence.

Short, but very comfortable
Had a short staying due to delayed travel. I was surprised of the excellent service to reach out to me an provide service even after the front desk closed and how easy was to get acces to my reserved room. And the room was great!, they even left the heater on prior to my arrival which made it even better. Thanks again for all your services!

Not much help when needed from office. No phone number available to call and request necessities. Had to walk to office and wait for them to answer the door sometimes no answer at door. Pots and pans utensils etc in poor conditions. Toilet would rock to one side. Heater works but does not turn off when setpoint is met would get way to hot could not leave on overnight would have to turn off and on the whole entire stay while in the cabin. Cabin is cozy but needs some things addressed. All in all was a good stay and made great memories with the family despite the inconveniences

We really appreciated your feedback of course there is a phone number right outside of our office, you can also check our phone number online, I remember you came only one time I was here all the the time I did not see you come few times and I opened the door promptly.

I have never written a negative review before. However, I can not recommend Bay Meadows Resort (Big Bear Lake) given our experience. When we arrived at Bay Meadows Resort yesterday, the Staff Person at Reception told us that the "power was out". He indicated that there was no electricity due to an outage in Big Bear. What he did not indicate that the heating and stove were electric so unavailable! Our cabin/cottage was 44 degrees when we entered it. It would become colder during the night. We returned to Reception and said there it was too cold to stay there. He consulted with someone on the phone and offered to return half the payment as it "wasn't their fault". We explained that when we booked a night at Bay Meadows (at $230/night) we expected to have heat and lights. Since they were not being provided, we should receive a full refund. He refused that request. We told him that we would write an Expedia review about our poor experience. We left and found a wonderful place (Saddleback Inn) in Lake Arrowhead (26 miles away). It had heat, lights, working kitchen, and a nice restaurant. It was also the same price as the Bay Meadows Resort. I recommend staying only at places where guest experiences are valued! We did not find that at Bay Meadows Resort.

Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you found a hotel (26 miles away) it means there was no power in a big bear lake. after you left I called wit out response I also sent you a message through Expedia letting you know that the power was back on.

I was extremely surprised how much we loved this location. We got room 123 and were next to the gazebo and nice snowy patch next to our back porch as well as a lil river and bridge. The pictures are honestly not flattering so I was a lil nervous but definitely happily surprised with the room it had a bedroom a walk in closet a walk in shower a kitchen with all kinds of kitchen supplies and full size fridge a sofa bed and heater. We will definitely be coming back.

We were the only patrons at this establishment Could be because it's off season there wasn't much snow. Nice size room. Equipped with microwave and fridge Downside is the shower is VERY small.

Booked 1 night for a family of 3 weekend getaway. The Cabin we booked is fairly small but it was just we needed for one night. Small kitchen and the Living room had couch that turned into a bed for our teenager and bedroom has queen bed. The bathroom was also small but everything worked just fine. It’s right off the main road and less than a mile from The Village. I did have a hard time speaking with anyone at the location. A week priory to our arrival , I tried to reach out to the property and no answer. I even left a voicemail and requested a call back. I finally was able to speak with someone a day before my check in where they stated they are the only one working the property so it was hard for them to answer calls. Other than that, we had a great experience & will consider staying there again.

Everything is nice except that all amenities are prepared only for 3 people. The traffic to big bear ski resorts can be jammed.

It was a cute little place don’t get me wrong! staff was very polite, we even brought our dog and they weee totally fine with that! only thing i would say is that the wifi doesn’t really work that great on the tv and cuts in and out and skips the show. other than that we stayed for 3 nights and had a great time!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here! We got the cabin experience with a full kitchen (including pots/pans, bowls/plates, eating utensils), being able to prepare our own foods after a long day at the ski resort! The staffs were also very nice in assisting us with accessing the hot tub and sauna room. Huge plus!

I stayed here for my girlfriend’s birthday and I was so happy with everything about this place. They are very accommodating and truly went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! They gave us a free upgrade because it was my girlfriend’s birthday and even offered to keep the jacuzzi open for an extra hour. I’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this place to friends and family!

“Sofa bed” turned out to be a lumpy, leather futon. Bright lights shone through the window and prevented my kids from sleeping. Property manager was nice and tried to help but couldn’t do much.

Room is good and clean , service helps good. Only problem is water shower it was run slow and not strong. At night time i hear noiseless from garbage can . Overall we feel comfort outside and inside. Nice view
