Beautiful, clean property

My family and I had a great stay here! The property was beautiful and conveniently located near Big Bear Village. The place was clean and and had great amenities. We really appreciated the central A/C as we went during the summer. We had a little trouble with the door, but it was easy to reach out to someone and get a solution quickly. We would definitely come back!

This home was perfect for my family.

The home is in a great location and close to all the shops. The check in process and communication with the owner was easy. They happily accommodated us for early arrival and made sure our departure was flawless by having the driveway snow plowed for us. Will definitely be coming back!

Great experience!

I have to admit, I was nervous about the beautiful pictures not being true in person. However, this house exceeded our expectations! It was clean and had all the necessary supplies needed to make my whole family comfortable. The location was great, close enough to the village and other activities. The owner had excellent communication and even accommodated an early check-in. The only negative was that we should have stayed longer. The Twin Pines property made us excited to plan our next trip back to Big Bear!

Fun weekend in Big Bear

We came to Big Bear for the bike race (Tour de Big Bear). The home was a beautiful remodeled “cabin”. The two car garage was convenient for putting or bikes in and two cars. The great room with high ceilings, large kitchen, dining room for 6, island seating for 3, comfortable TV area was light and airy. The three bedrooms were all comfortable. The two bathrooms were also very nice. My whole family truly enjoyed our stay…and the race was hard but fun! Thank you!

Disappointing

Certainly, here's a draft for your review: --- Title: Disappointing Experience We recently stayed at this property expecting a "Modern Luxe Ski home" experience, but unfortunately, our visit fell short of expectations. The advertised amenities did not align with the actual condition of the house. From noticeable maintenance issues to a lack of cleanliness, our overall stay was far from luxurious. Despite addressing concerns, the problems persisted. We were disappointed with the discrepancy between the property's description and its reality. We hope this feedback encourages improvements for future guests.

Gorgeous House

We just stayed at this gorgeous house with 3 adults and a 15 year old. The pictures tell you all you need to know, it's absolutely beautiful. Super spacious and located in a great area close to the village (15 minute walk) and lake. Previous reviews had stated that there were no toiletries or microwave, but they were available during our stay. I would love to stay at this property again! One tiny thing to note, the photos for the listing shows pink chairs for the dining table, but they are now blakc and the bedding is now grey, instead of white.

Nice looking house and great location, but....

The house was aesthetically great and comfortable, however poorly appointed. Pots and pan looked like they were picked up from a second hand thrift store, only two kitchen towels and a whole lot of instructions on washing, drying and putting away dishes upon check out. Sheets on the beds were stained and looked like they’re from a college dorm room. Barn door in the master would not stay shut. I replaced the batteries in the remote and never got a response from Erica. Nice house but falling short on delivering a nice experience for your guests.

Needs improvement

Property was very clean and great location. The mattresses were horrible, dishwasher and washing machine really don’t work. No laundry detergent, no dish soap, no paper towels, two chairs to sit outside that’s it. No screens on the windows so you can open the windows to enjoy the fresh air. Minimal pantry and cooking dishes.

Gorgeous home!

The home is absolutely perfect, clean and comfortable. We wanted a little get away for my husbands 30th with the world shut down and this was perfect. The property owners were also amazing addressing any questions and concerns ASAP! Oh and great location, just two streets over from the village walk!

Family Mountain get away

I don't get to spend much time with my kids and grand kids, so this was a special birthday for me. The only thing was I had to rent another place for my one son and his wife and dog. My family thoroughly enjoyed there stay in your home. It was perfect. They all did not want to leave. Thank you so much for opening your home.

I really have mixed feelings about this place, so let me review in sections. Location: 5 stars. Really wonderful. It's really close to the slopes and in an area that is accessible to the amenities that you need, such as grocery stores, ski rentals, restaurants, fast food places, coffee shops, etc. Home itself: 5 stars. It was clean, airy, had modern amenities such as heated bathroom floors, 2 nest thermostats - one for rest of the house, one for the master bedroom, surround sound that loops throughout the living area and master bedroom. Amenities/Details: 3 stars. Here is where I am torn about this place. I have stayed in MANY properties over the years. In all the over 40 properties we have stayed at, this is the first time, I've seen the following: 1. Bathrooms have no toiletries. No Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash, etc. For the first time, I thought I would save space and not bring anything because for 2 days, we could just use the amenities provided, especially since the home was so nice, I never gave a second thought to it. Ended up needing to buy it all. 2. There is a laundry list of things that you must do or else you will be charged a minimum of $25 for each. - Trash must be taken with you, otherwise they charge $25 per bag. There is a dumpster area a couple miles away. They only provided 3 trash bags. - You must empty out the fridge - otherwise, charge. - Dishes/Pot/Pans, must be washed AND put away - no just placed into the dishwasher and run. They only provide organic dishwasher liquid which does not work so even after placing everything into the dishwasher to run, you will need to again hand wash everything off. So in the morning time, as you're trying to pack the kids up after their breakfast, you have to spend an extra 45 minutes washing/cleaning/drying, and putting away dishes, before check out. 3. Check out is at 10:00am - If you're going to ask us to put away the dishes, maybe allow a bit more time to check out. I woke up at 6:30 just to make sure we had enough time to get it all done. 4. No Microwave - Thank goodness a previous reviewer mentioned this in their review so we brought one. 5. No Wine Glasses - We drank wine from water cups. 6. No Children Items - It's really easy to store a highchair and/or a pack and play in the closet for people to use. One less thing people with families need to worry about. There are a few other things, but I will leave it at this. Overall, just make sure you literally bring everything you would need before coming to the house. The house itself is beautiful and you will enjoy bring here. This review is merely constructive feedback to make the property even better.
