Tucked into the trees of Moonridge, Moonridge Retreat offers a quiet mountain escape where fresh alpine air, filtered sunlight, and views of Snow Summit set the tone for a relaxed stay. Large windows fill the home with natural light, while the surrounding pines create a sense of privacy that feels both peaceful and connected to nature. Whether you’re here for ski days, summer hikes, or simply time away, the setting makes it easy to slow down and settle in.

Inside, the home is designed for gathering and unwinding. The main living area features comfortable seating, a smart TV, and a gas fireplace that brings warmth and ambiance on cooler evenings. A second den upstairs offers additional space to spread out, also with a fireplace and entertainment setup, making it ideal for multiple families or groups traveling together. Downstairs, the game room with a pool table and Bose stereo creates a natural hub for late-night games and shared moments.

The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to full dinners at home, with a Keurig coffee maker, air fryer, rice cooker, and all the essentials needed to cook comfortably. A dining table anchors the space for shared meals, while nearby deck access makes it easy to step outside and enjoy the crisp mountain air.

Sleeping arrangements
The home features four bedrooms across two levels, offering flexibility and comfort for a range of group sizes. The primary bedroom on the first floor includes a king bed and TV, while a second first-floor bedroom offers a full bed. Upstairs, additional sleeping spaces include a bunk room with twin beds, children’s books, and toys, making it especially well-suited for families.

Outdoor living
Step outside to two spacious decks where you can take in views of Snow Summit and the surrounding forest. Outdoor seating and a propane BBQ create an easy setting for casual meals and evening gatherings. The fenced yard provides added peace of mind for those traveling with pets, and the quiet neighborhood invites evening walks under the trees.

Location and convenience
Moonridge Retreat is ideally located within walking distance to the Big Bear Alpine Zoo and nearby golf course, with shuttle access to the ski slopes just a short walk away. Restaurants, shops, and local attractions are all within a quick drive, making it easy to balance time at home with time exploring.

Maximum occupancy is 10 guests at all times, in accordance with local regulations.

Pet-friendly - up to 2 dogs allowed. $85 per pet per stay. Please clean up after pets and do not leave them unattended in the home.

Parking for up to 4 vehicles - 2 cars in the garage and 2 in the driveway. No street parking permitted.
Please remember these rules are mandated and imposed solely by the CITY and our PERMIT/ORDINANCE which requires property management companies to notify all guests that the CITY requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the rental agreement app a copy of Governmental ID that matches the name on the reservation. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out.

(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly.

(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation.

(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave.

(5) Trash - All trash must be removed offsite to the free trash sites. Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or outside is subject to a $25 per bag for removal this is not our rule - this is the law and we must abide by it as there is no trash service due to wild animals. Please do not review us based on the law. We provide a dump service if you should want to pay in advance, but we have to send a dump service we cannot have housekeepers take the trash as the CITY does not allow this.

(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open.

(7) Pet- All pets must be disclosed and pet fees paid in full prior to your arrival. Please be sure to clean up after your pets, please do not allow them on the furniture or bedding, and for their safety do not leave them outside unattended. Any pet waste left inside or outside of the home or damages to the home are subject to additional cleaning or repair fees.

(8) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.

(9) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines.

(10) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Any evidence of violation is grounds for immediate eviction from the cabin and a $3500 plus damages found at the home.

(11) Please refrain from bringing your own BBQs, Firepits and or outside cooking devices are banned by the CITY due to the fire safety hazards. This is subject to eviction due to this is how fires start.

(12) The Mountain community area does not have air conditioning, and the availability of fans may vary depending on the property description. High temperatures or heat will not be grounds for a refund, as many cabins do not include air conditioning unless specifically stated.

(13) Due to the mountain location, Big Bear and the surrounding areas are known to have occasional power and internet outages due to circumstances beyond our control. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. There are no refunds at anytime for power or internet outages due to normal mountain conditions, as these are beyond our control.
