Comfortable, Clean Cabin with a Few Practical Drawbacks
We had a nice stay overall and appreciated many features of this cabin. The place was very clean with no bugs, and the floors were especially nice. The beds were decent, and the showers and sinks worked well. We enjoyed the heater, fireplace and the hot tub, and having a washer/dryer was very convenient. There’s a small hill on the property that can be used for sledding, and a foosball table (though it had a broken handle). When we had minor issues, they were fixed quickly, which we really appreciated.
That said, there were a few downsides to be aware of. The toilet is quite small and low. The hot tub had a strong chlorine smell. While there is a sledding hill, it felt a bit dangerous due to nearby trees. The fenced yard is very small and wouldn’t be secure for a large or athletic dog. We also noticed some missing essentials like a baking dish, foil, and a pooper scooper. The walkway up to the front steps was slippery, and the living room and dining room furniture was uncomfortable for extended use.
Overall, this is a clean and well-maintained cabin with some nice amenities, but a few comfort and safety issues keep it from being perfect.
