Rustic cabin right on the lake. Modern appliances in the kitchen. Dogs loved the fenced in yard and BBQ worked perfectly.

Perfect place to unwind

Everything was lovely. It was clean and well stocked with amenities! Perfect for chilling by the fireplace and enjoying family. The weather prohibited a few things but we had fun just vibing.

Stillwater Cove Lakefront

It was a wonderful little cabin. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. The views are just beautiful. The large fireplace in the cozy family-room was wonderful. We plan on renting the exact same little cabin on our next visit. The check-in and check-out was really well done.

Off Season stay at a beautiful cabin

We had a great stay on Big Bear lake. The Dogs loved the fenced in yard, the Kitchen had everything and the fireplace came in handy on those chilly nights. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay!

It was an amazing and cozy experience. Also close to everything that you'd want to see in Big Bear! My two dogs enjoyed the large backyard and deck too !

Best Cabin!!

We had so much fun staying at the Stillwater Cove Lakefront cabin. Beautiful view of the lake! Cabin has its own dock for fishing or evenings sitting on the lake. Cabin was clean with a beautiful kitchen space. We will definitely be staying here again.

The cabin was great. Well equipped. We stayed for 10 days. Considering this was dog friendly one of the gates did not lock so we had to rig it. The master bed was extremely soft but the other bedroom was perfect.

Amazing Place to Relax and Regenerate

I went to Stillwater Cove Lakefront by myself to regenerate and recharge, away from the many stressors in my life right now. My lupus is very active right now and I needed a few days alone so my body could get some relief. Being so close to the lake so I could take easy strolls along the shore was just what I needed, since fatigue is an huge issue right now. And being able to see the lake from the cabin windows refreshed my soul. I will definitely be using this cabin again. A massive thank you to the owners for making their home so comfortable and sharing it with others.

The view of the lake is beautiful. The fully-fenced yard is so nice. Our little 10 lb. dog is small, so could have gotten under in a few places, but we just always went with him. He loved the lawns and trees and breezes. The cabin is charming on the outside. Reminded those of us who have been coming to BBL for a long time of the cabins of old, with updates, of course :). The pictures of the interiors are light and bright, but in reality it is very dark inside, mostly because the lighting fixtures and lamps are old and some broken, and with low-wattage bulbs. That’s an easy fix. The Bedroom 2 is dark and cave-like and has no nightstands next to the bed. These few things keep me from giving it 5 stars.

Georgous Vintage Cabin

We had the most amazing stay at this cabin. The location was hands down the most relaxing place we have stayed at up in Big Bear. The cabin was clean,warm & cozy. It had everthing we needed . We had our dogs and they loved the fenced garden , we all enjoyed lazy afternoons out on the deck watching the lake . We rented a pontoon boat from the marina close by , that was a great day out . Big Bear never disapoints when we come up every year in October . Thank you Big Bear Cool Cabins for another great stay!

This cabin was amazing for a long weekend trip. The view out to the lake and around the house was beautiful and it was very quiet and peaceful. We brought our dog and he loved running around in the yard and walking down to the lake. Beware if you have small dogs they may be able to get out under the fence in a few areas. Everything in the house worked well, the beds were very cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Quiet neighborhood, with great view of the lake. Bed was comfortable, kitchen gadgets and supplies were appreciated. Home was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this location and home.

Loves & Improvements

Perfect size for my family with a crawling and cruising 1 year old. Loved all of the grass space. Good outdoor seating. Loved how hidden it felt in the pines. Loved the outdoor landscaping and lighting. Our 7 and 4 year old were very excited to have a tv in guest room. Appreciate the master shower water pressure. Improvements = Need coffee filters for guests. Might have missed them, and I left some there. Likely poop near northeast side fence. Make sure patrons clean up after themselves or prep crew catches it. Add a slider or screen door for front & back doors? Utilizes breeze through house and keeping bugs out. Cheaper energy bills. Fix drain plug. Cannot take bath in guest bathroom. Doors = Hammer in hinge pins & WD40 them so squeak less. Have a long handle broom available for sweeping back patio. May have missed this? Thank you!

Lovely cabin with a beautiful lake view. The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely return at a later date.

The cabin was in a perfect area we had a very enjoyable weekend fishing off the dock it sits in a very good place the cabin is a little bit outdated though it needs some upgrades such as the doors the blinds are a little bent the floor squeaks a lot a screen door would be nice
