One of the attractions on Big Pine Key is seeing Key deer, which astonishingly wandered around the resort property several times a day. Don’t touch or feed them, very illegal, but you can get quite close, as they are fairly tame.It wasn’t clear when I made my reservation just where the room was on the property, since...

“By the description of the property I was was hoping for an amazing experience. The house exterior looked like it was in need of clean up. It just looked like the construction crew left and no one did detail cleaning Our room was on the upper level. It was called the Star room. Apparently there was a methane gas leak somewhere, as our room, the entire stay smelled like an unflushed toilet. It was a lingering odor. We had fans in the room, which helped.
