We booked Hidden Shores for a mother/daughter weekend. There were 8 of us, including 2 grandmas (both aged 75), 2 moms (40’s) and 4 daughters (aged 15-20). The house was absolutely perfect! There were plenty of places to sleep, the furnishings were comfortable and beautiful! The kitchen was well-stocked. The views were to die for! We would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to disconnect and enjoy time with family.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Being at the end of the road, right on the water, provided us with privacy and peaceful surroundings. Our host was very responsive to our messaging throughout the whole process. The home was stocked with coffee, spices, Keurig cups, drip coffee filters, etc. The accommodations were very comfortable. We needed absolutely nothing. BBQ grill worked great. We did not use the fire pit because the temps and heat index was so high - we preferred the AC. The views were great and watching the osprey, deer and wild turkey was fun. A single bald eagle flew over along with several turkey vultures. The water traffic of barges and leisure boats were interesting. Binoculars, which were provided by our hosts, were beneficial in seeing the osprey on their nest and reading the names on the tugboats!We would certainly come back to this home.Thank you for sharing it with us.

Great, Secluded Getaway
Our family of teens and young adults wanted to find a secluded spot on Kentucky Lake for a weekend away. What drew us to this location was the ample bedrooms and lake access via private ramp. Ramp is a little tricky for getting waverunners in the water, but we still managed. There is another, public ramp within 10 minutes of the house. The drive back on the private, rock road was cool for a city slicker like me. The house itself is nicely decorated with good wifi and flexible sleeping arrangements. We enjoyed use of the gas fire pit and grill for dinner and s'mores after a day on the lake. The king bed in the master was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a VRBO. We would 100% stay here again.

hidden gem
We came out with family and friends to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. The setting was exactly as described. The house was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. I was amazed by all the extra touches the owner puts into her property. The location was beautiful, and the house was so nice that it made leaving it hard. Thank you for a great weekend getaway. We will definitely be back when we can stay longer and just unwind.

Awesome lakefront property - well stocked with thoughtful host.
Vacation visit to see our grand-daughter who lives in Big Sandy. Enjoyed two wonderful event full days on the lake kayaking, fishing and catching minnows along with game room activities. Cant wait until our next trip and stay!

Great weekend getaway.
Loved the house! Very well stocked with essentials. We ordered pizza from the little pizza place in Big Sandy, it was delicious and a great value. The lake was wonderful too.

First Family Vacation
Our family enjoyed our first family vacation at Hidden Shores and it had everything we wanted and more: peace, nature, scenic views, and access to lake activities. We had so much fun in the game room, swimming, fishing, tubing, grilling, and enjoying smores on the deck. It was the perfect getaway!

Quiet Get-away
This lovely lake house is surrounded by nature, and is away from things, which is great if you're looking for a peaceful stay. This is a guy named Bruce that lives in the area who is super friendly, and I recommend you take him up on his fish dinner option - super tasty!

The Treasure at the end of the road
Wow! This property was GREAT! When you leave the paved road making the final trek on the unpaved portion, one wonders if it really exists. Loved the tranquility and setting this home is nestled in. It literally is at the end of the road. The lake views were beautiful as was the weather: high 70s and 80s. Enjoyed morning walks on the road through the woods while seeing many varieties of butterflies.
The home is warm and inviting, creating a relaxed, at home feeling as soon as you come in the door. From the beautiful decor, the comfortable bed, plush bath towels...the hosts thought of every little detail to make us feel like we were in a 5 star hotel. Nice deck to relax on and listen to the birds sing. The barge traffic was an unexpected delight! We appreciated how the hosts set up the garage to create a space for some "play". Even the sitting area in there was a nice touch.
While grabbing some groceries at Krogers in Paris, we went next door to Oishii Japanese Hibachi. Their Super Buffet was fantastic! We'd go back again in a heartbeat.
This home provided a great place to getaway.

Beautiful home with perfect amenities
The home itself was perfect! The amenities were wonderful. The views were stunning. The check-in process was very easy.
The only issue is the road to get there if you do not have a truck or SUV you will not make it. We had to park one car in the nearest town as she was unable to drive the path to the house. I wish this information was given before hand.

Wonderful view and home!
This house was right on the lake shore. We could hear the water lapping the shore while we sat on the back deck. The surrounding nature was very calming, and reflected how TN feels (even without a mountain view). Home and furniture were nice. The Foosball/ ping pong table in the garage were a great bonus! I would stay in this home again, it was the perfect choice for a few nature days.
The drive to this house included a few miles on a gravel road. It is accessible by car, but there were some large rock in front of one neighbor's home. I'd be more comfortable having a little clearance on whatever car you are driving, but this is not necessary. Did not need 4 wheel drive. There is a neighbor right next to this house, so I felt secure knowing we were not isolated.
Main bedroom bathroom was wheelchair accessible.
