Our Men's ski group stayed here in March. This was our 3rd trip to Big Sky.
PROS:
- wonderful house, large and very comfortable.
- layout was fantastic, heated garage with boot dryer,
- kitchen was spacious and allowed for easy cooking for a large group. Mostly well provisioned, missing a pan, but was addressed by management (more below)
- has to have one of the best views around, at least the best view we have had to date. Lone Mountain right out the window!
- Ski OUT was awesome. down the street to an access trail to White Otter LIft. Ski IN...see CONS
- Beds were very comfortable with great bedding
CONS
- really only one that I can come up with...Ski IN. This is not a ski in location, its a hike to get back to the house, doable, but it was rough. About a half mile after taking a long cat track to the road. Bozeman Trail to Rising Bull to the road, take a left and go for a hike up the road if you want it.
- not really a con, but I need one more point here; no TV in the main living room. We thought this would be a problem, but it actually was really nice as we ended up having more conversation with our group.
Management Company
Two Pines was incredibly responsive...we had two issues throughout our stay: 1) the kitchen was missing a few fry pans and there were only 5 short glasses for drinks we when arrived. 2) our hot tub was not functioning when we arrived. For each call, the management company had the issue resolved within 45 minutes...the first they brought additional kitchen ware and the second a hot tub tech arrived and fixed the hot tub. under 45 minutes....I can't get myself to fix things that fast.
