I’ll start by saying the place matched the listing and there isn’t anything wrong with the house. A couple things were a bit dusty but not the end of the world. However, customer service really leaves something to be desired. The host provided an entry code, and I alerted them we’d be checking in around midnight which they said was fine. When we arrived at midnight we learned there were over 100 units at the address and we hadn’t been given the unit number. You’ll see from a January review this was an issue with someone else. We had to spend over an hour on the phone with VRBO who also didn’t have the unit number. A little after 1:30am the host got back to us and gave us the unit number. Obviously we did not expect them to be awake at that time, but we do expect them to provide the unit number in advance. If the host had immediately apologized and offered us a 1/4 of the night refund, we would be writing a very different review. Mistakes happen. Instead, we had to file a complaint, go back and forth with the host, for them to only give us 50 back and never give an apology.
