  • The Wrangler - Cowboy Heaven Cabin will make you feel right at home with all of the amenities you will need for any summer or winter vacation.

    Step off the front porch to hike all summer or on to the groomed slope to ski all winter! This true ski-in/ski-out luxury Cowboy Heaven Cabin on the slope in Big Sky, Montana is nestled in the trees of Moonlight Basin for the ultimate escape and privacy.

    This luxury Cowboy Heaven cabin has it all. The gourmet kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, granite counters and all cooking utensils, will allow you the luxury of cooking in for any meal. Smart TV`s in both bedrooms and the living room offer everyone the option of relaxing and viewing whatever you like after a wonderful day on the slopes or a day of hiking, rafting, or wildlife viewing in Yellowstone National Park.

    The master suite has a king bed with a super comfy mattress as well as a Smart TV and a private bath with new heated floor, tile shower and a separate sink/vanity. Bedroom 2 has a brand new XL twin over queen bunk bed and a Smart TV. Full Bathroom 2 has a new tile shower and heated floor, granite counter, and single vanity. 

    Enjoy a beverage of your choice while soaking in the private outdoor hot tub on our deck as you watch your kids sled directly from the cabin down a gentle slope. Put on your skis or snowboard ON YOUR PORCH and go directly to the Iron Horse or Pony Express lift. And when you need a break, ski-in for lunch or a cup of hot chocolate. Lace up your hiking boots and hike directly from the cabin to amazing views. Don`t miss the fox, deer, and other wildlife that share the outdoors with us around the cabin.

    Winter or summer, there is parking directly next to the cabin. Easy in and out for any occasion. With Yellowstone only 1 hour away, this is the perfect luxury lodging option with all of the amenities of a rustic `Out West` experience. You will love it so much, you will never want to leave.

    * Big Sky Resort officially opens for ski season the Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day. This property is ski-in/ski-out via the Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts. Early and late season ski access is condition dependent and may vary. All lift operations are completely at Big Sky Resort's discretion.

Perfect family ski vacation

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights over the Christmas holiday. Everything was wonderful: the ski-in, ski-out location, the cozy cabin and hot tub, and the well stocked kitchen so that we could cook meals. We can't wait to come back.

We had a great spring break ski trip! Everything was great, we appreciated the bottle of red with snack basket too! Hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing!!! Outstanding accommodations!

The cabin was very well maintained and stocked. The owners were very friendly and immediately attentive to any concerns we had. We had no problem locating the cabin - the directions were pretty clear - the streets getting there could be a bit complicated. And getting into the cabin was well explained also. All in all, we had a very nice time. Samuel and Acra are wonderful hosts and we would not hesitate to stay with them again!

2023 Cabin Stay

This cabin was a great ski-in / ski-out cabin. The cabin interior was very clean and the hot tub was operational during our stay. Easy to communicate with the owner. This cabin has some great views!

Great cozy spot with great mountain access. Very effective ski in / ski out ability.

Great stay. Great mountain access. Cozy cabin home, with all the necessary homely amenities to cook, relax and sleep etc. Very easy check in / out process. Thanks for the welcome basket, that was a nice touch :). Probably will be back next season if it is available. Thank you!

Perfect tucked away cabin

Our stay was lovely. The cabin offers plenty of space and a beautiful back patio for evenings fireside or in the hot tub. Grab Cowboy Coffee in town and enjoy shopping or hiking local trails and waterfalls. If you’re heading that way, Yellowstone National Park West Entrance is about an hour drive.

Incredible property and experience

This amazing cabin is highly recommended. The location was just a short slide down to the Iron Horse lift, which was never very crowded, and from there all areas of the mountain were easily accessible. This property was perfectly maintained and came with more than expected in terms of supplies. Thank you!

Great location, and warm and welcome vibes!

My friend and I stayed here for almost a week and we had a excellent experience at this property and would recommend it to anyone. The property management team was also extremely helpful! Bring warm clothes as it gets very cold in Big Sky!

Great little cabin!

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a day of outdoor adventures! One critique is that we were required to drive and dump our own trash. When there is a fee for cleaning, guests should not be asked to do any cleaning, especially driving trash to the dump.

Great ski in ski out family cabin!

My family of four loved everything about this trip to Big Sky MT! An incredible cabin on a green run that the whole family can get down and then branch off to the most amazing 5,500 acres of terrain you will ever ski / board. The Wrangler cabin was perfect for easy in / out skiing / boarding...leave when you want come back when you want. Cozy gas fireplace keeps the cabin warm and toasty. Loved the proximity to Lone Meadows ranch and it’s amazing restaurant Horn and Cantle which we ate at three times in six days. We will be back!

This cabin is lovely! It is exactly what we were hoping for and more. I bought some amazing coffee in Bozeman and enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chairs every morning!We had hiked Lava Lake in the cold rain for about three hours prior to arrival so the hot tub was perfect to unwind upon arrival. The cabin was equipped with a lot of necessary items. The only thing that would have helped is extra hand soap in every bathroom. The cabin had bear spray and we left a full bottle of unused bear spray. There are no closets , some drawer space , and mostly hooks throughout the cabin for hanging clothes but it worked fine for the four of us. They had a cooler and chairs to use for music in the meadow which was so helpful! The entire week was awesome and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!
