A very quaint and charming hotel. The views are not particularly spectacular; however, you can see very far in all directions. The bar staff are very friendly.

Another cool historic stop. The renovation is fantastic. Great central lobby, with plenty of history hanging on the walls. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was perfect… every detail was done with taste and quality. The restaurant was closed on the day we arrived, but the bar was serving, and worked out just fine. Not much going on around the hotel… pretty quiet scene. We’ll come back.

This hotel is a throwback from the 30’s completely remodeled but in the period of the roaring 20’s it reeks class and elegance the price rivals the price you’ll pay for a mid priced average hotel but with half the size and 1/4th the class. loved it, try it I think you will too!

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and I would say this was the best experience. Staff has always been excellent but there were a few times I saw some neglect - more related to overall housekeeping. No sign of that this time. Can't wait to make a return trip and when I hear someone say they are headed out to West Texas, I always encourage them to at least stop in to see this beautiful gem that Big Spring calls it's own.

Our room was beautiful and we have stayed at this property many times, but have set realistic expectations. That said, the dining and bar hours are very limited, as are other amenities on the property. Only one or 2 restaurant / bar options around the hotel so be prepared to make your own fun. $700 suite should come with $75 bar tab and free breakfast. Price for rooms does not adjust for midweek or off-season which means either owners don’t need the money and aren’t concerned with occupancy or don’t understand the benefit of accommodating a variety of travelers. Kind of silly, really. Book the mid-range room - higher floor, if available.

What a beautiful property! I only wish we’d had more time to stay and enjoy more. The pool area looked beautiful and the lobby was stunning. The room was huge and very comfortable! I would definitely stay here again!

The Settles is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. It's jetted tubs, beds and room service are amazing! And, the staff is always helpful and welcoming.

The hotel is great. I was just disappointed that allowed two very drunk and hostile characters into the bar who then harassed me and other customers.

What a wonderful change from the normal chain hotels! The room, which was actually rooms, felt like a glamorous elegant suite. Spacious, impeccable. We went out of our way to stay here and it was definitely worth it.

I had an amazing night in a beautiful room! During a freeze of my water pipes I just needed a shower and got so much more! Room service food was amazing and the staff was so awesome. And they actually had a real handicap shower. which is very hard to find and traveling. I will definitely refer all my friends that come to visit and I’m not gonna say anything about I’ll be back because I don’t want my pipes to freeze again it has not been fun. Except for my stay there!

If you are driving between Dallas and El Paso, definitely stay at the Settles. Beautifully restore high end hotel. Staff is very helpful, friendly, courteous. Restaurant is excellent. Rooms are huge and superbly outfitted. And the price is a little more than Holiday Inn Express.
