Complete NIGHTMARE. The worst I have ever experienced in my life.
In finding our room, the place is under severe construction – entire hallways full of demolition and construction supplies all over. Carpet that was moldy, walls badly in need in paint.
Our room couldn't have been worse. The "jacuzzi tub" that we paid extra for a Suite – was not only broken but had exposed electrical wires next to the toilet! Major health hazard.
The tub had black MOLD all around it, again a complete biohazard to be near. The lighting and "fan" was exposed with a loud buzzing like it was shorting out.
Inside the room, the bed looked like someone had ripped something off it. Stains on the walls from built up dirt. The floors, COVERED IN HUMAN HAIR. Long black hair, it was not vacuumed or cleaned. Profane graffiti on the side of the bed, walls that clearly had drywall mounts / something removed, ripped off but not patched and covered and repainted.
We went to the front desk to complain and try to get a different room – the lobby door was wide open (after hours) but nobody was there!? So strange, so we called the afterhours line – no answer.
We were on the phone with Expedia, and they tried their line for hotel management, No Answer. Expedia told us to leave and they'd help with a refund, so we went to another hotel (The Best Western Clocktower down the street, 5 stars).
After 3 days of going back and forth with the hotel and Expedia, we were told the room was non-refundable and NO REFUND
