Instrucciones especiales de check-in

Este alojamiento se encuentra en una isla y es necesario desplazarse en barco para llegar. De forma inmediata tras realizar la reserva, todos los huéspedes deberán organizar directamente con el alojamiento el traslado desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Seychelles (SEZ) en Mahé hasta la propiedad. El cargo obligatorio por el servicio de traslado debe abonarse por completo con antelación (el importe está sujeto a cambios). Los huéspedes también deben confirmar los traslados con el establecimiento al menos 15 horas antes de viajar. El servicio de traslado está disponible una vez a la semana: el viernes a las 14:00 de Mahé a la isla de Bird y a las 14:45 de la isla de Bird a Mahé. El horario está sujeto a cambios.

Natural Bird Sanctuary

Bird Island is like no other place on earth. It is the sanctuary home of the most Sooty Terns on the planet. Nearly 1MM migrate and nest there. About 5 Giant tortoises inhabit Bird Island, as well as a dozen other species of birds. Bring ear plugs for sleeping. There is no AC and the chalets are open-air, allowing for a realistic CO-habitation with non-threatening critters. There is a nest in every area of each tree, on the island. The by-product of a natural bird sanctuary is phosphorous and can irritate people who are sensitive to smells. The food is marginal, but true to Seychellian culture. The staff is more than pleasant. The service is sincere, warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The amenities in the lodge and rooms are dated. For the price-point, do not expect a resort or comforts. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are large, the showers have warm water. But where can you have giant tortoise greet you daily outside your chalet door or on a walk? Come to be awed by nature, beautiful white sand beaches, clear and warm waters, amazing sunsets, roaming with the tortoise and a wild-habitat that you cannot buy anywhere else. A 3 or 4 night stay seems sufficient. Green and Hawksbill Turtles lay their eggs here. Inquire times if you are planning your trip around this wonder. We have been to Bird two years in a row (and are from the states). The weather is high 80’s, low 90’s in spring. We love the outdoors and good people. Come experience a place like no-other on earth.

Great for the experience

Great when you take it for what it is: an amazing island with beautiful scenery, exceptional beaches, great for swimming, snorkeling ok (big fish, but whitened coral, turtles), the birds, tortoises. Food was good, plentiful, second servings always possible. Extra good papaya, avocado and sherbet/ice cream. Some currys tastier than others. No A/C (ok at night with fan, but very hot during the day) Mattress would benefit to be changed. Functional toilet and shower with hot water.

Hübsche Anlage in naturbelassener Umgebung

31/2 Tage bzw. 4 Nächte Wir sind reichlich spazieren gegangen-am Strand und in der schönen Anlage,haben reichlich fotografiert - vor allem Tier-(Russseeschwalben,Noddis,Fairy Terns,Tropic Birds,.......und Riesenschildkröten)- und Landschaftsfotos.Auch schnorcheln haben wir ausprobiert. Zwischen diesen Aktivitäten haben wir gelesen und gechillt.

Endure noise and bugs to have incomparable nature

Bird island itself is wonderful. And the lodge food is good enough. since the lodge is opened to outside, bugs and bird sounds at all night is unevitable. But if you ask me visit again, I will definitely say yes.

Freundliches Personal mit der bekannten sechelloys-attitüde. Süsses Sungalow, jedoch liess die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Die wunderschöne Insel und der sensationelle guide Robert etschädigen jedoch vollends die Schwachpunkte des Resorts. wenn man keinen luxus erwartet und die ruhe sucht dann ist die insel einen aufenthalt wert. kleiner tipp: max 3-4 nächte bleiben, danach weiterreisen.

Tolle, schöne, idyllische Insel mit wirklich vielen Vögeln. Man trifft Riesenlandschildkröten und Meeresschildkröten. Naturgemäß riecht der Vogelkot etwas streng durch die Masse. Man sollte keine zu feine Nase haben.

j　自分で選んだ旅先ですがホテルが一軒しかない、ということは、価格を選べないということ。私には一寸贅沢な旅でした。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　お客がフランス語圏の人が多く、従業員もそうなので「気取り屋さんの集まり」みたいで雰囲気が嫌いでした。さすがにオーナーやガイドは気を遣ってくれましたが、・・・　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　環境は素晴らしく、それを順応しているお客も素晴らしい。日本人だと、この自然の中でどう過ごすだろうか？他に日本人がいなくてよかった。

Bird Island - WOW !!

If you want to get away from modern electrontics and traffic this is the place. A wonderful, peaceful Island you share with the birds and giant tortoise. Very good food and service included! Not cheep as only 50 guests max can stay on Bird, but a special one. Flight from Mahe is 35 mins. The most beautiful beaches will greet you. A walk around the Island is 5km. A chance to see turtles on the beaches laying eggs. If you want an idyllic, peaceful few days this is the place.
