Cute, comfy and great location.
The check in process was a little clunky for our 50 something brains. We had to call the host a few times but she took care of us and got us in. You have to download an app in order to get into the apartment building from any door. I wish the doors were labeled so we knew which lock to unlock, but once we got past that hurdle we really enjoyed it. We are used to hotels or entire home VRBOs so this was a little different being an efficiency apartment. There was a comfy memory foam bed and it was spacious and had room to lounge around. Walking downstairs and outside you will find many restaurants and even a Publix within a block or 2. We were in town because our daughter had to have surgery at UAB. It worked out well for us and we would definitely recommend. My one suggestion would be to add a couple more pillows to the bed as 1 for each person is never enough. Fortunately, we each brought 1 from home and then maybe add a few more towels but these were minor non- issues. Will be staying again if we need to be back in Birmingham. The price was reasonable for Birmingham
