Great house for girls weekend

We had a lovely time staying at this property. The back screened in porch was so nice to eat/hang out. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything and beyond that you need to cook. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Amazing!

This home was perfect for our mother- daughter vacation. We loved every minute. The home was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen a delight. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Black Mountain area.

Beautiful home in beautiful mountains

Our party of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) fit perfectly into this beautiful home. The space was excellent for relaxing between local excursions for hiking, creek wading, and swimming. The beds are super comfortable.

Easy access and comfortable

Clean with very comfortable and up to date furnishings. Located close to downtown Black Mountain in a well kept quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook for a small group.

Adorable House

We loved this house so much. From the outside it looked quite small but it was really very spacious for our family of 8. It was very clean and had everything needed. We would definitely stay here again. :)

Comfortable home in a quaint mountain town

This property was exactly as described. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for our family of five. Black Mountain is a great town to walk around, shop, eat and explore. Lake Tomahawk is fun for walking fishing, watching the motorized sailboats and letting the kids play on the jungle gyms.

We loved the screened in porch! It rained one morning and it was heaven to sit out on the porch and have our breakfast and coffee listening to the rain. The house is very nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen is one of the best stocked I have ever seen in a vacation rental. I would definitely recommend this house.

Spacious and calm in a central location

The house is very nice, looks like brand new, great appliances and well stocked for cooking. We had plenty of space for the 4 of us. Location is about 20 min walk to Black Mountain downtown and 10 to the nearby park/lake. Tons of hiking trails within less than 1h drive!

Great Weekend Stay

This house was perfect for our two families for the weekend. It was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Everything was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked with basics (s&p, olive oil etc) they had a bunch of board games that the kids enjoyed playing with. This house was about a 15 min walk into town or a 3 minute drive. All in all we would stay here again and definitely recommend to friends.

Beautiful Stay At Blue Ridge Haven

Blue Ridge Home is a perfect addition to a weekend get away in Asheville. This home was clean, tastefully decorated, and had all the necessities to expect in a vacation rental/bnb. Besides being a great place to stay the convenience of being close to Asheville was great to have, it took ruffly 20 minutes to get from the house to Asheville downtown. We also realized that Black Mountain is a cute town to explore and spent a couple of days getting trying the food in Black Mountain and looking through the shops in town. In total we had a wonderful time and couldn't have found a better place to relax after long hikes, or lay back on the huge couch as a family for a movie on a chill night. Thanks for the awesome stay.

All in all a positive experience but this place needs…

Kleenex in the bathrooms An over the door multiple hooks clothes hanger in the master bathroom. (No closet available in master bathroom) Had to use the storage closet in the hallway. ☹️ Btw, there was one in the upstairs office/bedroom. That’s what we used.

Adequate but had some kinks to work out

This is a very new house in a neighborhood still being built up. I’m sure it hasn’t been offered for rent very long. For the most part it was nice and well appointed. Loved the bottle of Biltmore wine at check in. Appliances all worked. Kitchen was adequately stocked. We were a family of 6 staying 4 nights. We ran out of toilet paper on day 2. Which is to say, the bathrooms did not start with full rolls and there were no back up rolls available at the house. That was inconvenient, but not difficult to remedy. The ceiling fans all have remotes, which is fine and normal these days. Unfortunately, all of the fan remotes for the entire house run on the same frequency, so turning on the light for one fan turned on every fan light in the entire place. That was annoying. The big issue with this house, though, is that the drain in the master shower was close to non-functional. Taking a shower involved standing in 2 inches+ of soap scummy water. Kinda gross. If the shower issue gets addressed, I would rent this place again. It’s walking distance to downtown Black Mountain and the neighborhood felt very safe.
