Well from the minute we walked in we felt like family we was given a good introduction to a safety of the building and everything else which was absolutely fabulous. The room itself was amazing love and ice space an amazing bath would definitely either recommend the lady that runs it is really friendly really outgoing and we will definitely be back 100% fabulous location for the Winter Gardens.

Everything you could want and the friendliest host! Beautiful room with a very comfy bed, extremely spacious for Blackpool. The location is so convenient for all the attractions, whilst being quiet at night. Unusually for Blackpool, excellent Wi-Fi and TV reception too. Overall the best place we've stayed in Blackpool and fantastic value, we'll definitely come back.

Wonderful bed and breakfast.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay. Yvonne was amazing showed us round. Provided information about the area and places to go. Breakfast is available at an extra cost and is absolutely delicious. Quality ingredients and plentiful. Bed was very comfortable and so quiet at night . Would definitely stay again.

Friendly and warm staff. Knowledgeable about the area and willing to give pointers of where to go and when. Lovely breakfast and happy to help with our dietary needs (going to tge shop and buying fresh for us). Lovely nights stay.

Still a work in progress but spotlessly clean. We were given a warm welcome with parking right outside the hotel for just £5. Didnt have breakfast. Great location and a lovely guest house that we will definitely use again

Amazing hotel

When I arrived at the hotel the hostess was really friendly and welcoming,she went above and beyond,the room was amazing with everything you needed, the bed was comfy the hotel was a really good price and I had a lovely stay over ,I have recommended this hotel to a friend and I would definitely stop here again in the future

Great room and great location very close to all attractions and amenities. Great club straight across the rd so not too far to stumble home after one too many 😅.Bnd b was really clean and Yvonne the owner was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. If you needed any extras in room ie water or loo roll you just had to ask and it was provided. I even left one of my shoes which was kindly posted out to me by Yvonne great customer service will deffo return

A must try guest house

The stay was absolutely outstanding the room was nice and clean and it smelt fresh. The host where fantastic. We payed for breakfast when we got there great choices and a must buy the food was fantastic. We will be staying again thank you

Great hotel

Great hotel the owner is lovely and is happy to help with anything, rooms are comfortable and warm, breakfast is amazing, the hotel is currently going through some cosmetic decoration but it does not affect the stay at all we already booked to come back before we even left

Excellent stay at the Runway

Yvonne was an excellent host and was very attentive from the minute we arrived. The room was very comfortable and the bed was great. My husband and I slept very well and woke up feeling refreshed, The en-suite was superb, well appointed and clean. The Runway is centrally located in Blackpool and is a superb base to explore the town.

A welcoming stay

We stayed in room 9 for one night. The room was clean and looked to have had new furniture and carpets. There was everything we needed en-suite, towels, toiletries and bottled water. Yvonne knew a lot about the local area and gave us some tips for our trip, she also called us in advance to let us know the room was ready. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and is a working progress but we had a pleasant stay and would return.

Friendly and very helpful host. Accommodated my dietary requirements very well. The optional breakfast is tasty and substantial, which is a big hit with me, and definitely worth paying the extra for. Nice new flooring and carpets throughout. My room was clean but could use an electric socket near the bed (I have advised host on this). Bedside lamps were battery only and ran out of power when I went out for a long evening. This might be only an issue in one room however. Runway is very handy for the centre of town and has a couple of shops within easy walking distance. Parking was OK when I went but might be harder during peak season. Wifi works in bedrooms which is definitely better than most B&Bs in the area. The central heating doesn't work in all rooms (apparently a new pump is needed), but the host did provide a plug-in electric heater which was just about sufficient. Re-decoration is ongoing but the progress seems to be slow, hopefully this will be completed soon as well. The floors have been done throughout and do look nice. The walls, woodwork and banister were still to be done. Host inherited an outdated building and has already invested substantially in the renovations, this is obvious. There is still more to be done though, which with relatively little extra cost will make a big difference. I would be happy to stay again here, and hopefully it will be even nicer once the improvements I mentioned have been done. Overall I can recommend very highly.
