Thankfully, we had a sleeping bag in the car and put it on top of the bed so we didn't have to sleep in the bed. That should speak volumes. Spent close to $50 on cleaning supplies and Lysol to make the surfaces safe to put our bags on. It felt like a post apocalyptic movie set in the worst possible way. Stink bugs and spiders in the bathroom, ants in the bed, paper towel from another guest left in the microwave, rusty refrigerator interior, and let's not forget to mention the smell. I've felt cleaner and safer camping in the woods. I've got no issue with an older property that needs some upgrades, what I do take issue with is filth and neglect.

I know people overreact and are very picky but my experience was really not good. No clean bedding (Stains and holes on the bed covers and blanket) bugs (Thankfully no cockroaches but ants,spiders,and more all over the room) our microwave was broken, the inside handle of our room door was broken off completely (Twist it and it slides out) our keycards didn’t work properly for the 4 nights I stayed there for. Overall the equipment is outdated or broken and staff really wasn’t helpful or isn’t even “aware” of these issues. For the money I paid for and the 4 nights I spent time there, I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone near the area and they are definitely better places to go but I got stuck in this place because of last second planning and I definitely paid the consequences for that lol. (P.S) I don’t know if the owners will see this review but if they respond with frustration feedback then I can show them all of the pictures I took to showcase my evidence :)

I arrived at 8:30 and checked in. The door to my room was open with the inside lock handle adjusted to keep it open. That was uncomfortable for me because anyone could have entered before I got there. I have the key card and would appreciate a secure room when I arrive.

I went to this location. There is no staff at this hotel. I'd had to go to the hotel next door to check in. I did went back to this hotel.. the room is horrid. The HEAT DOES NOT WORK. The bathroom was filthy and looked to be used linen folded up. Lamp shade busted. Carpets in lobby were wet. Looked to be **** on wall above bed. Ceiling molded and cracked paint feeling. Hallways and room smelled like dirty animals. Gave the room keep back to the desk at hotel next door. Also this is not the hotel I booked. I booked the adjoined hotel that I have stayed in the past. Not this one! Will not refund my money either

When I made my reservation and paid for the room it never stated anywhere on the hotel website or hotel.com website that I would have to pay a deposit of $100 and the room was only $55 that I had to pay online the cleanliness was zero the comfort was zero the people was negative a hundred the receptionist that checked us in was very rude but the receptionist when we checked out was okay

Place was so dirty, low lighting, building seemed abandoned, key card didn’t work and front desk how to walk down to separate building to let us in. Didn’t stay more than 20 min before deciding to just leave and drive 3 hours home…

First of all the hotel didn’t have my reservation, when I got ahold of someone from Expedia they resent it and I finally got checked in after and hour and a half. Went to the room it was nasty and had roaches. I asked for a swap and was told that I would have to pay the difference at this point it was going on 2 in the morning so I said that was fine how much. The clerk blamed it on Expedia and Expedia blamed it on the clerk but I paid it because at this point it was 2:15 in the morning going over a 2 hr check in and I was having to get up at 7.

Room is clean and comfortable No coffee options in the room. Excellent television options. I needed an affordable stay during a weekend when Virginia Tech had a home game nearby. Other hotels double and triple there rates those weekends. This was a perfect no frills hotel with all you need for an overnight visit. Modest breakfast, service counter in the main building only. My last stay here was not noteworthy. They have improved on everything. I will consider them again as they have the best rates in Radford. The guest book overlooks everything Radford has to offer. Information is mostly about Blacksburg. Still, a worthwhile stop if you don’t need all the bells and whistles. Safe and comfortable. I’m glad I gave them another chance.

The place we stayed was not as advertised. It was a sperate small building off to the side. Rooms smelled funny, dirty, and there was damage to the ceiling. We got switched to another room before we had a chance to enter because of a "problem" with the original room we were given which set off alarms for us.

It will do, the guy at front desk was nice but wasn’t there when I got in around 9pm and took two calls to get him to the front. My stay was in the second building which is through a pretty empty parking lot and the keys are two Pizza Hut ads. A little dingy but no vermin or dirt immediately visible

I wish this app would let me upload photos. The place itself felt more like a haunted house than a hotel. Collapsing ceiling on overhang outside of our window. Cracks and water stains on ceilings and walls. Tape holdings remote for the broken TV together. Telephone didn't work. Sunk wouldn't drain. Just aweful.
