The Gregorton Coachhouse
- Wonderfully situated to enjoy many outdoor activities, and with a coal-effect fire, Gregorton Coach House is a perfect year-round holiday destination.. This spacious, detached holiday house, adjacent to the owner’s home, lies in almost 1½ acres of gardens, and is situated in a quiet residential area of Blairgowrie, a market town in the heart of Perthshire. The River Ericht runs through the town, which itself is the starting point for the 60-mile Cateran Trail. Glenshee, Scotland’s largest skiing area, caters for all year round sports activities including fishing, mountain biking, abseiling, hang gliding and paragliding. There are several excellent golf courses in the town and local area, including a championship course a mile away as well as the Rosemount and Lansdowne courses. Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie are within an hour’s drive. Explore the many castles, stately homes and gardens nearby, including Glamis and Scone Palace. The cities of Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen and Edinburgh are all within easy driving distance. Relax in the garden with a glass of wine after enjoying this beautiful area and all it has to offer. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.. Ground Floor:

Spotlessly clean and very Covid aware.
Spotlessly clean and very Covid aware. Very spacious with massive rooms and all nicely heated. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of useful guide books. Plenty of parking space. A fantastic base for exploring the area. We had a great holiday.

Just returned from a fabulous week at The Gregorton Coach house.
Just returned from a fabulous week at The Gregorton Coach house. The Coach House was the perfect place for our holiday, ideal location for exploring Scotland. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The owners live in a separate property in the grounds but this is not an issue the few times we did see them in passing they were very friendly. We would definitely recommend and we hope to return to stay in the future.

Lovely cottage located behind the main residence where the owners who are extremely nice people live
Lovely cottage located behind the main residence where the owners who are extremely nice people live. Very spacious with all the mod cons we come to expect in our lives.
It is around a 25 minute walk into town which has a few really good restaurants.
Would definitely recommend a stay at this place.

Enjoyed this stay very much.
Enjoyed this stay very much. Lots of lovely walks starting in or near the town for which this property provided the perfect base. Golf course five minutes drive away. Huge Tesco for food shopping two minute drive. The accommodation itself was simply excellent.

Gregorton Coachhouse is a stunning property, spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented with lots of homely touches. It is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need on a self catering holiday, along with a much appreciated welcome pack The owners, John and Margaret were very friendly, welcoming and helpful and struck the perfect balance between being there if needed but at the same time being respectful of our privacy. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and watching the jays and the red squirrels in the garden. With many interesting and beautiful places within easy reach (we particularly enjoyed Loch of the Lowes and the Montrose Basin for bird/wildlife watching), we can highly recommended this lovely cottage. It was our first visit to Gregorton but it certainly won't be our last - thank you Margaret and John, we had a wonderful holiday and can't wait to return!

A spacious house that was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need, even down to a sewing kit and manicure set! Comfortable beds, great shower and small details like hand lotion, shower wash, air freshener, washing powder, dishwasher tablets (and quality toilet paper!!) did not go unnoticed. The location backing onto woods with paths was great for the dog. We saw an array of wildlife including red squirrels, deer, many species of birds and witnessed boxing hares in the nearby fields. Great base for touring - we enjoyed Scone Palace, Glamis Castle, Braemar and Loch Tay in particular. Local eateries we’d recommend are Dalmore Inn for ‘affordable excellence’ and Little’s Fish restaurant (in a converted church) for a special setting and first class food and service.
The owners Margaret & John were welcoming, friendly and very helpful and left us a welcome pack including wine, strawberries and biscuits. We recommend this property for a great holiday and the cleanliness mark for this place is a wholehearted 10/10!

This is simply one of the best cottages we (my wife and I + our 2 dogs) have ever stayed in, if not the best. Fully equipped, spacious, quiet, well located... this house has it all. Very clean also, and not to forget a nice welcome packet (wine, tea, coffee, cookies...).

An excellent holiday home with everything you could wish for. Wonderful attention to detail meant that we had a fantastic stay over 5 nights. The area is very central for exploring the southern Cairngorms, Dundee, Perth and the east coast of Scotland. Would definitely recommend it. Host greeted us with a lovely welcome pack which was most appreciated
