“A great place to stay. We were in the pink room with 2 queen beds. It was gorgeous. Beautiful linens. Great AC which was welcome. Alex was a lovely host and we enjoyed family style breakfast with the other guests on the second morning. We explored Sandbanks and borrowed beach towels. We enjoyed walking the grounds and felt very at home here. It’s a beautiful old farmhouse and Alex and his partner have really decorated it with both style and comfort in mind. The art and decor are beautiful. ”

“Julie and Al are wonderful and warm hosts, and have a lovely home. Our check-in was easy, and Julie and Al provided clear instructions and useful information to make our stay more comfortable. Their back deck and waterfront access were big highlights, and we fully took advantage of their kayaks and SUPs. Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a B&B. ”

As a total package the Runaway Rooster is a tough to compare. ”
