We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is near all the attractions in the area, close to Blowing Rock and all it has to offer. The back patio view is stunning. House is equipped well, it was clean and decorated nicely. It is down a private, gravel road which we were not expecting, but seemed safe and was pretty quiet. Highway 221 is just below the tree line, so when you sit outside you can hear the traffic, but it did not bother us, just something to note if you are wanting total peace and quiet. The lot next to it (which shares the same gravel pathway and passes right in front of the house) has an Airstream parked on it, and it appears the neighbor is working on preparing the lot for a house, but he was quiet, respectful and we didn't even know he was there, just another thing to note if you are looking for complete privacy. We ate out for lunches and ate dinner at the house-we didn't want to miss the sunsets which are so beautiful from the patio (and even inside there are incredible views)! I was traveling with my mother and daughter and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
