Stayed in this beautiful cabin 6 nights for my husbands birthday and it did not disappoint! We had plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 dogs. The fenced area was great for the dogs. All beds and bedding very comfortable. One thing I would suggest is to get to house during day the first time to see the lay of the road then returning day or not is fine.Bring a flashlight, you could loose power! The large deck is beautiful with plenty of seating. Pictures do not do this home justice. Can't wait to return!

Host was great. Answered all questions prior to stay.Can openers (2) are still broken. But we managed. Fine. Glad we went up during daylight but made it fine. Plenty of parking for four vehicles.

The entire process and stay was wonderful. From booking to communication with the owner to the day that we arrived. Taylor was so attentive leading up to our stay, we felt so comfortable with the decision to book Above The Clouds. The cabin was exactly like the pictures showed with the exception of the view. The view is so much better in person, pictures cannot do it justice. The road leading to the cabin could be challenging and or intimidating for some. Once you do it a few times, it is really not an issue. The day we arrived, there was a welcome card on the counter which was a great touch. Even the dog bowls and toys were so thoughtful. All three levels of the cabin are beautiful. Honestly though, we never left the main level. There is something magical about sitting by the fire place and looking out the windows at the mountains. The furniture was comfortable to include the main level bed. The bathrooms were clean and very nice. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessities which made the stay perfect. There are plenty of seating on the decks to just relax and enjoy. Honestly we did not want to leave at night for dinner but the restaurants in Blue Ridge are worth it. Overall, we highly recommend Above The Clouds and are already looking at booking again soon.

House is amazing - great view from the rooms. Try-plex so you are not onto of others that are with you. Amenities are well thought-out including kitchenware as well as shower stuff. Lots of TVs and entertainment in the house for those days you dont leave. Recommend.

This was our first family cabin trip. The cabin is absolutely stunning!! Views from the cabin were just incredible and the hosts were so extremely helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable cabin experience!!

We stayed here during fall and the view was incredible. We’ve stayed at this cabin for years and it never disappoints. Beds are comfortable and the fenced firpit area is great for letting the dog and kids run wild. We always are sad to leave. Beautiful property with top tier hosts!

Dream home. Clean! Just as pretty as the pictures online. Gorgeous location. Wonderful view. Private. Quiet. Lots of amenities and games. Premium furnishings. Whole house water filter. Generac for emergencies. Well stocked kitchen.. Nice premium bedding, shèets and towels. Responsive and courteous owners. The property is well cared for and loved. Great water pressure and hot water! Internet wifi was good. Nice floorplan. Enornous deck and ample outdoor seating. The drive up the mountain was a challenge. The road has eroded away in many places (dirt gravel road). Steep incline. We had 4x4 Expedition with Hill decent feature. We did okay in that, but i was glad my husband was driving and not me. The only con was the hot tub wasnt able to be used bc it needed to be cleaned. The owner tried.to help, and was responsive, but it didnt work out for us to enjoy it for our trip. They were grateful we let them know, and are working on getting it resolved. Lots of fun. Nearby kayaking, tubing, and hiking trails. We loved going to Toccoa Valley Campground for kayaking and tubing! A great place to get away and retreat. Highly recommend!

The photos do the view no justice!!! It was absolutely stunning. We actually sat in the driveway a little longer than we should have bc the view was soooo hard to leave. David was super helpful with few things that went sideways. Would definitely stay here AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!! My kids cried as we drove away this morning.

Perfect Girls Weekend Trip

The pictures do not do this property justice at all! Absolute perfect setting for a girls weekend getaway! Porch sitting is a MUST!! Kitchen is fully stocked with an abundance of appliances, big and small, and has just about everything you'd need. Beds are super comfy, and plenty of room for groups to stay. Hot tub is great and the game room is perfect with plenty of things to do! We even saw a bear while we were there! Highly recommend this property! Can't wait to stay here again!

The drive up to the cabin was a bit nerve wracking but worth it once you stepped into this gorgeous house with the amazing view! Everything you need to entertain the family young and old! We played pool, enjoyed the hot tub and even played Pac-Man! We will definitely be back!!

Truly a Slice of Heaven in the Mountains

This cabin is a gem — peaceful, upscale, and perfectly placed in the mountains, not just overlooking them. The host provides great directions and a video of the drive, which made getting up the mountain super easy (I did it in a Ford Edge, no problem).Inside, everything is spotless and beautifully done — upscale-rustic decor with wood and leather throughout. The downstairs is the perfect hangout zone: hot tub with killer views, a pool table, leather couches, and a retro arcade console with classics (yes, Galaga and Pac-Man included). There’s also a bedroom and a spacious bathroom accessible from the room or main space.The main level has a high-end kitchen, cozy fireplace, and easy access to a grill and deck. The top floor has a massive log-frame bed, a stunning mountain-view balcony, and an updated spa-like bathroom. TVs are crystal clear (as good as my 4K OLED at home), and the Wi-Fi is solid.Outside, there’s a hammock, a fenced yard for pups, and a mountain-facing firepit with firewood included. It’s peaceful, private, and feels like you’re truly part of the mountain range.Bonus: there’s even a Generac generator (it worked like a charm when a storm blew through on our last night) if the power goes out. 10/10 stay — I’ll be back.
