We loved our winter getaway at this cozy log cabin. The location was peaceful and private. I especially enjoyed the swing on the patio, th3 fireplace and the hot tub was so relaxing! Another bonus was having a washer and dryer machine. Very convenient since this vacation was a road trip! The host was exceptional! Gave me a list of things to do in the area, always prompt and responsive with booking, getting access in and out of cabin. Any time I reached out very quick to respond! I highly recommend and would stay there again!

Host very welcoming with suggestions of restaurants and things to do. The door lock was very sensitive and we were locked out for a while. Hostess responded after about 45 min The weather was bad so we were frustrated. Her directions weren’t clear.

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was wonderful! The home was so clean and cozy! It was a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge and some great hiking spots! We will definitely be back!

I went by myself with 10yo dtr and 8yo son. This was the sweetest stay I’ve ever had in blue ridge!! Highly recommend this host and location! It was central to everything we wanted to do and super cool and beautiful cabin!! You wanna plan a day to NOT leave the cabin!!

What a wonderful cabin! It was everything as shown. Very clean, easy check in and the Host was super responsive. Its perfectly located, it feels very secluded and private but only15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and grocery/walmart. The lights on the porch and in the trees around the fire pit make it seem magical at dusk. The hot tub was perfect, private and my very favorite was the porch and swing. We spent a lot of time there, its private and feels like youre in a tree house. Home is well stocked, plenty of towels and wash cloths. Blankets and pillows with several games including cards and scrabble. Easy use tv with wifi access, kitchen well stocked. Over all, wonderful place and would 100% stay again.

My husband and I stayed the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect for two (or four). Our favorite part of the house was the porch swing at night listening to nature without having to worry about getting bit by bugs. The jacuzzi was a nice feature. The house was very clean. We went shopping at the local Walmart to get some food which was not too far from the house (about 13-15min).

Beautiful

My husband and I stayed here for a short getaway. This was our first time using VRBO. Melissa, the host, made the process of everything so easy and her recommendation for restaurants near by were wonderful! The property itself was easy to access, very well kept, and had beautiful scenery. We spent most of our time in the big comfy swing on the screened in back porch just enjoying the scenery.

Perfect mountain getaway!

We booked Redwood Retreat for a long weekend getaway, and we could not be happier with the experience! Its convenient location makes it a great home base for adventures in Blue Ridge and Ellijay. However, with all of the great amenities, you may find yourself wanting to spend all your time relaxing at the cabin!The cabin itself is a gem. While located in an easily accessible neighborhood, the wooded surroundings provide privacy and make it easy to forget you have neighbors. It's an ideal blend of indoor-outdoor living space; we loved the ability to enjoy the hot tub, read a book on the huge, comfortable porch swing, and then prepare a meal in the fully stocked kitchen.The cabin was spotlessly clean, and check-in/check-out procedures were a breeze. The host was easy to contact and provided us with great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions.We were so happy with the experience, we even decided to extend our stay! If you're looking for a private mountain getaway with all the comforts of home, you will not be disappointed.

Birthday Trip

My husband and I had a night away for his 30th birthday. First over night trip in 3.5 years. We were a little disappointed with things. When we first arrived, everything seemed nice. We were really excited for the outdoor atmosphere, but unfortunately we had to spend 45 minutes walking under the porch, throughout the house, and property to try & get the outside lights to work. After about 45 minutes, we’re only able to get a section of light working; the host was very responsive with messages and gave us troubleshooting tips, but unfortunately didn’t work. The hot tub was the focus of our time, but unfortunately were unable to enjoy it due to an awful smell. There was slimy particles coming from the jets and it smelled as if something had died. We just sat on the edge & barely put our feet in, so that was disappointing. We enjoyed the view & serenity of the cabin location, but, unfortunately would not book again there.
