This was our second time staying at calico cabin and couldn't have asked for anything more. Being minutes away from downtown Blue ridge, Georgia gives you access two local attractions. BR scenic railway, Bigfoot excursion, Appalachian trails horseback, Blue ridge off-road adventures to name a few. In addition to the numerous dining experiences. The cabin itself is cozy and we do appreciate the split level suites. Jim, the host is extraordinary. Upon our arrival he had the cabin decorated in Christmas decor.

Great communication with Jim the host in advance. Location very close to blue ridge but still felt private. Loved the gas touch button fireplace and hot tub. Made the cabin very warm and cozy. Very clean. We have a 4WD bronco and kind of needed it to get up the gravel hill but normal car probably ok. Really nice view.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Calico Cabin. Our host was very responsive answering questions and providing helpful recommendations for our time in the Blue Ridge area. We are very picky about the places we stay, and this cabin exceeded our expectations. I look for comfortable beds. Covered porches with good seating. Newer hot tub. Good road with easy access to the cabin not far off a main road. Location not too steep and not requiring a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Private location. Lovely view from the outside porches. Propane grill. Adequately supplied kitchen for cooking. This cabin met all the requirements. As it turned out, it rained the entire week that we were there, but I had a wonderful stay. Because the cabin was so well designed, we read books, sat outside on the porches enjoying the fall leaves and cool weather, enjoyed the hot tub, cooked all our meals, and never left the cabin until we checked out. And it was wonderful. The cabin is 3 levels with a bedroom and bath on each level, so it would be perfect for 3 couples or to give kids their own floor. I hope to return again next year and can definitely recommend this place if you are as picky as I am and want a top notch stay.

Clean, stocked with essentials, well maintained hot tub, nice view, great location near downtown, decks galore, comfortable (firm) bed, and plentiful close hiking. We had a pleasant, but not long enough stay.

Awesome cabin clean spacious. Feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Hot tub then directly into double headed cold shower so close to everything fireplace is great warms loft above living room for awesome naps. My husband loved his birthday trip. Will be back next year. One note Maps will stop at wrong cabin go to end of lane on left side

The property was clean and comfortable. Located close to everything. We would definitely visit again! The one thing we wish we knew about prior to arrival is the road up to the cabin is not paved and is a steep incline.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Calico Cabin! The hot tub was awesome! The layout of the cabin is perfect for 3 couples ( even though it was just my hubs & I) one bedroom per floor, each with a full bath. The road leading in to the cabin was a challenge for our little Honda HRV but def not a deterrent to renting again. Sooo close to downtown BR!

This cabin was cute and cozy. The view was exactly what we wanted. Check-in and communication from the host was super efficient. We had a fantastic stay. Just a heads up the road up to the property was a bumpy, but you get used to driving it. We are definitely looking to book this one again in the future.

We loved this cabin! It is very convenient to downtown but still on a quiet road. The cabin is clean and cozy and spacious. We were so pleased with our experience. The owners were great to work with too. I can’t say enough! Thank you for a great getaway!

We thought the location was really nice. We enjoyed eating meals on the balcony overlooking the tree tops on the hill. It was close enough to town to make going to the grocery store and downtown Blue Ridge very convenient. The beds were comfortable and it was nicely set up for us and our small dog. It is on a somewhat steep gravel road that got a bit rugged after a heavy rain storm. Thought it was a great cabin and really enjoyed our stay.

Long Weekend Getaway

This was a great space for an elongated ladies' weekend getaway! The host was kind and communicative, the cabin was located close to several spots we thoroughly enjoyed, and was extremely spacious for the three of us. We also appreciated the touches that made it easy to travel with our pups! Thanks for the stay!
