Overall, great experience!! Everything was just as you see, whatever was needed it was there. The host was welcoming and communicated. I must say I will be stay at this properly again. It was more than enough space great location not to far from local stores it was everything that we was looking for.

We had a great time! We loved the hot tub and fire pit and the game room with huge tv and lots of comfy seating and a pool table! The cabin is very roomy with lots of space and tvs to spread out so everyone can have their own space. The master bathroom has a nice shower and soaking tub and cozy bed in the master. The kitchen has everything you need to cook delicious meals..lots of seating for large groups…Our family enjoyed the cabin immensely!! We also enjoyed nearby hiking to a waterfall and tubing down the river was a highlight of our trip and it’s only a few miles down the road. Great cabin! We would highly recommend this place..great host!!

We had such a good stay here! The home was comfortable and beautiful, and minutes from the Toccoa River. Everyone loved the fully-stocked game room and the outside hot tub-patio-fire pit area was a big hit. All communications with the property owner were swift and helpful, we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Home, But Patio, Backyard Needed Attention

Sure! Here’s a polished and friendly rewrite:⸻This was our first time staying in Blue Ridge. The house was just as described—cozy and well-appointed. We only wish the patio and backyard had been properly cleaned before our arrival, as there were quite a few webs outside which took away a bit from the initial excitement. That said, we still had an overall enjoyable stay.

Relaxing & fun at Alta Haven

We loved our stay at Alta Haven. The cabin has 4 bedrooms, but still feels very cozy. It rained a couple of times during our stay, so we did not use the fire pit, but the game room, movie area and hot tub were excellent. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and it’s not far from great restaurants. The Aska Adventure area has great hiking and tons of fun stuff to do and the drive to the cabin is beautiful. We didn’t need anything extra during our stay, but the host checked in to make sure we were taken care of.

Amazing!

We booked this cabin for a weekend get away for my husband’s 40th birthday. It was us and 2 other couples. The house layout was perfect for the 3 couples. We also enjoyed the hot tub and game room and an evening bonfire. The location was perfect and close to all amenities, the downtown area, and also Mercier Orchards. We are already talking about when we can go back for a visit! The owner was also amazing to work with and super easy to get ahold of and responsive. He was able to provide us with some suggestions of things to do in the area as well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place in a great location

We had a geeat time at Alta Haven. It was clean and well appointed. The location was great, far enough to be out in a quiet rural area but still close enough to many activities to have fun adeventures during the day and then return to a wonderful cabin for family time in the evening.

Mountain Delight

Everything like described, excellent location to all the outdoor activities, trails, and to the town. Cozy cabin, with plenty of seats and room for family gathering. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub too. We'll definitely go back!

Great Cabin and Location

The property was really great, comfortable and clean. There were a few little things but Gideon, which was extremely attentive took care of them quickly. The Cabin feels secluded and private but you are still close to the amenities near by including a river tubing just a couple of minutes away. The outdoor area is excellent and we enjoy spending the night time around the firepit. The only thing I can think about that it would make it better is having a better arrangements for younger kids, like bunk beds as they all wanted to sleep together but we managed regardless and still had a great time!!!

Nice but not Great

The good: -Easy Check in -Clean - beds, bathrooms and linens are nice and comfortable -Communication leading up to check in was great -Hot Tub was a nice touch The bad: -Fireplace didn't work (would light but wouldn't stay on) -Benches for main table are flimsy and wobbly, will lift up if you sit too close to one end -Toaster half worked other half didn't -Electrical issues with things not turning on, or randomly turning on, such as ceiling lights in the middle of the night -You can hear whispers from one room to the next. If you are staying with friends you will hear their conversations in their rooms, using the bathroom, etc -Pool Table has broken bumpers, and all the cue tips are missing or broken -Outlet covers missing on the wall downstairs and in the laundry area We checked in Thursday and I expressed these issues on Friday. We heard nothing back except for automated messages asking us to do things to check out and also please leave a good review. In my opinion this is what you get when you hire a rental company to manage your property.

This property was absolutely gorgeous. The cabin was clean and decorated very nicely. The communication with the host was awesome ….he was very responsive. The pictures on the booking site does not do this place justice. Everything you need to have a nice stay was provided. The Walmart was close to get the grocery items we needed. Did not know that Blue Ridge was a dry county. Grateful that my friends came prepared 😆. I would definitely recommend this cabin and I plan to rebook in the future. Thanks Gideon!

Cozy cabin

We stayed with multiple families, including children. The cabin was very cozy from the different seating options throughout the house to the fun layout of the backyard. Communication with the owner was above expectations. He touched base many times leading up to our stay, along with throughout the time of our stay, ensuring that we were enjoying our stay. And his response time was almost immediate, every time. We would rent with Gideon again if we had the opportunity. Thanks for the memories!

Thanksgiving in Blue Ridge

Property worked well for our family. Everything was as described. Anything we needed the host quickly responded too. Aska Road hiking trails very close to house maybe a mile or so. Downtown is about 12 mins drive. All in all good location. Enjoyed our stay. Zero complaints
