Just a dream!

So glad we chose this place to begin our exploration of Georgia because it was our favorite of the 2 week sojourn. Beautiful location by the river and apart from others, stylish, immaculate, spacious, well equipped and a very comfy bed. I could have sat for hours on the deck listening to the birds!

Toccoa Cottage stay October of 2023

This is my husband and my 2nd stay at the Toccoa River Cottage and we love it. We love the coziness of the cottage, the beautiful trees and nature surrounding the river, and the hot tub on the below deck! This is a studio type setup/ but a large one at that. The king bed is very comfy, and has a view of the river. The kitchen is great for heating up and/or cooking meals. Outside the main room is a deck where you can grill and/or sit out and enjoy your coffee while watching the river go by. The walk in shower in the bathroom is roomy and there is also a laundry unit for use if needed. There is a 36 step down to the river where they have a lovely fire pit and picnic table. You may want to bring your own tablecloth, and firewood. This is also very close to town in Blueridge, where you can stop on your way in and pick up groceries at Walmart, or another local store even closer to this cottage. The property manager is very sweet and she will make sure you are well taken care of.

Peaceful getaway with a memorable view

My husband and I rented this beautiful cottage for a weekend getaway. Renting was super easy and all of the instructions were perfect. They even included information about the damn water release so we knew the best time for fishing. The cottage is beautiful and immaculate. The deck was peaceful, but the best part was the picnic table and fire pit right on the river. We used the grill to make dinner and sat outside enjoying the view as we ate. I would highly recommend this as a couples retreat. We will be back!

Ideal Mini-vacation

We specifically chose the cottage for its open design, location and amenities. We were thrilled from the moment we arrived. It’s truly lovely, comfortable and the perfect set up for any couple who seeks privacy and beauty in the Fannin County area. We will be returning in the spring!

Well let me first say that my husband and I loved our stayed here so much so, that we have already booked it again for next year! Sarah, the property manager was very sweet and easy to work with, and helpful by responding to us with any issues or questions. As was their Maintenence manager Terry. A The Cabin is everything it looks like in the photos. Very clean and updated, comfortable and very mountain like. The kitchen is fully equipped and set up to accommodate most anything you need and more, in order to cook any meal. We cooked breakfast every morning and dinner, and also grilled out on the patio deck grill one night. Beautiful views daily from that deck! The king size bed is very comfortab, yet firm. Comes with two pillows for sleeping, which were good, but next time I would either bring my own extra pillow or request one. Bathroom and walk-in shower is beautiful and nicely stocked with towels and shampoo, blow dryer, (we used a couple of the towels for the jacuzzi). We did bring some of our clothes on hangers in a garment bag, and I was glad we did as there were not any hangers in the side room closet area. There is a chest of drawers. This cabin is gorgeous, but the property is even more so. We loved being right on the Toccoa River. We loved fishing right out our backyard. We loved the hot tub. We loved the privacy, but yet we also loved being close by the owner’s other big lodge, with neighbors close by. Downtown Blue Ridge is 5 minutes too.
