We had a wonderful stay and loved our time spent at the cabin. The location was right on the river which provided beautiful views. We stayed for Thanksgiving and even though we brought most of our tools just in case, the kitchen provided everything we needed. We stayed with our kids, 10 and 13 and had a wonderful time reading by the fire together and playing family games. We left with great memories.

Loved the cabin! Super comfortable, loved the layout and decor. So close to McKenzie River Trail for mountain biking and some great fishing spots just a few miles up road. Walked to dinner at The Pub Station. Ideal cabin stay.

Pet friendly, immaculate cabin. The screened in porch is the star; we spent endless hours watching the river roll by. Well appointed kitchen with all you need including oil, spices, and ground coffee (no coffee grinder).

This is a lovely property -- cabin, setting, location, furnishings, everything. It's quiet, so quiet the river seems loud. And that is good! Our stay included a drive to nearby falls and a wonderful day trip to Eugene to see the Ducks' football opener. What fun!

Nicely appointed cabin with great view of the McKenzie river. We especially liked the screened-in porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee with the sounds of the river rushing by. The Old Cabin Inn grounds are lovely to explore as well with spots with river access. The hosts were exceptionally responsive and friendly.

Perfect riverside retreat!

This was a somewhat spontaneous trip but this cabin was exactly what we needed and wanted!!! The cabin is right on the Mckenzie river and you can hear it from every room in the cabin and see it right out the windows! The screened in porch was wonderful to sit and drink my coffee in the morning and serene in the evening. The cabin is very clean and well maintained. The full kitchen had everything we needed in it. The AC and fans kept it cool in the day time and the fire place was really nice on one of our nights there. I highly recommend this cabin. The Log Cabin Inn grounds are all beautiful as well, and they are common grounds for all staying there to use. We loved sitting in the chairs that are placed right by the river. Also of note, the WiFi was good enough for my partner to work remotely from in the mornings there. We definitely want to come back. There is so much to see there and trails nearby. Thank you Jonathan for being an amazing host!

Beautiful, well constructed knotty pine interior with alot of attention to detail. Comfy river view!

The river is right there, about 40ft from the cabin. Super beautiful. It has AC, but the unit is in the upstairs bedroom. That room is cold as it blows into the front room. The bathroom downstairs is part of the main bedroom, it is not separate. We had a bit of difficulty with the DVD. Being old timers, it would be nice to have had instructions. The walkway down to the cabin is sloped but paved, and the wagon they provided made it easy to move our stuff. All in all, it was fabulous! Thank you for a wonderful time in such a beautiful place!!

My mom and three sisters always stay here every year about the same time in the same cabin. It has so many memories for us. I actually love that. They can take my two dogs who are just as part of the family. Jon Mahoney is a wonderful Person to deal with. He’s always there for us and has all the answers to our questions. Absolutely love the Cabin.

The property is quite lovely. The condos are OK but not great steak knives wouldn’t even cut through a muffin. Hot pads were completely filthy. All four of them. The towels were very rough. I think it could’ve been nicer.

Ideal setting for a fly fishing reunion

Beautiful, well maintained classic riverside cabin. Old friends getting together to fish the majestic McKenzie River and celebrate decades of friendship. Couldn't be more perfect.

The cabin was clean and well-organized. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. It doesn't impact me, but the walk from the parking area might be difficult for older or less mobile people. Also, the exterior of the property is very dark, so arrivals after sunset would be a challenge.

Lovely cabin on the water

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the sound of the river flowing outside our window. The area was great for cycling the McKenzie River Trail, and visiting the general store and restaurant down the road in Rainbow.

Heaven on the river!

This property was so comfortable, beds n linens were well appointed. Kitchen was well stocked. Really appreciated “wagon” to load everything in/out. Created much needed unwind for 65th bday celebration! Super memories, we will come again..

Cozy Cabin

I had a desire to stay in a cozy cabin in the woods by a rushing river for Thanksgiving. A tall order I know. This property checked all the boxes plus all the more practical and less romantic in that it was spotless, not fancy but well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the heating system took the chill off the rooms quickly, not an issue in summer, but much appreciated in late November. We enjoyed walking the trail, a real treat with all its flora. The whole group of cabins is lovely. Probably not the best choice if you aren’t mobile, It’s a short walk from the car to the cabin and this time of year there is weather, but for us, It simply added to the aura of being away from it all.
