Great stay in Bayfield

Loved our visit to Bayfield. Accommodations were lovely and the town was so fun to explore. Communication with Jennifer was great and she checked-in regularly to see how we were doing, offer suggestions for restaurants, etc. We would stay here again.

Family Trip

We took our younger but now adult cousins here to continue our family vacation tradition that our grandparents started. This was the perfect spot for it and everyone loved it.

Rest and Relaxation at Away From It All

What a beautiful cottage. It was so clean, comfortable and inviting. The location was perfect, so close to everything and quiet. Our Hosts thought of everything even a thoughtful treat for our pet!

A WAVE FROM IT ALL

A lovely little cottage with a delightful extended porch for family fun time. BBQ helps complete the experience. Wonderful comfortable beds, linens and furniture. Definitely worth the drive!

Lovely break!

Property was exactly how it was promoted! Clean, accessible & airy; our host Jennifer was simply fantastic. She checked in with us (virtually) to ensure our stay was going smoothly. We made some beautiful family memories (with 3 generations in attendance!) & will definitely keep in touch with Jennifer, to make future family memories!

Relaxing, peaceful getaway in a great location

A Wave from it All was a warm welcoming relaxing getaway a very short walk to the beach and an even shorter drive to town. Jennifer and Shauna made the experience so easy and comfortable from the first step of booking, to the extra steps to making the arrival extra special for not only us but our dog as well. The cottage was spacious inside and out and the carport conversion just added to that space. It was one of our favourite cottage stays and we are already thinking about our return next summer.

Beautiful stay

This was a lovely vacation home on a quiet street. We really enjoyed the area. Bayfield is a quaint little town and it is close enough for day trips to Goderich and Grand Bend. The cottage had a great vibe and was decorated beautifully. We really enjoyed the covered side porch. It was a great place to play cards or read a book.

Lovely New Cottage in Bayfield

We loved the neutral decor! The kitchen was wonderful and well equipped for preparing meals. The sunporch was perfect for lazy afternoons and watching the rain in the evening.

Quiet, peaceful and great location.

Very well decorated. Bedrooms are rather small. Lots of outdoor seating spaces. Very peaceful and quiet there and close to downtown Bayfield shopping areas.

Wonderful Get Away!

I went away for a few days with friends and my sister. The cottage was beautiful! Well equipped, nicely decorated. Due to bad weather we couldn’t sit out side but the view from the back deck was so pretty. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay here but it’s bit small for two families (total of 6 people, including 2 children). There wasn’t any shelves or wardrobes to put our clothes so we had to keep them in the living room in our suitcases as the bedrooms could only fit the bed. Also the AC is only in the living space, not the bedrooms so it got hot in our rooms at night.The house is on a quiet street close to the beach and newly renovated. We had a nice stay but it would have been nice to know the two points I mentioned above.

Perfect Girls Getaway!

This was the perfect place for our girls trip. The cottage was clean & cozy which allowed us to relax and just enjoy our time time together. It was spacious with plenty of comfortable seating to lounge around. A lot of storage space for food & drink. Pretty much had all the amenities we needed. Beds are very comfortable. Getting to the beach is a bit of a walk up the road & down steps but if you prepare to be there for the day then it’s not too bad. It’s also worth it to watch the sun set. We will definitely be back!

Family Memories

A Wave From It All was a nice, clean and well appointed spot to make Summer family memories. Jennifer made everything easy and was great at communicating with us throughout and checked in regularly. We really appreciated the pet friendly vibe of the cottage and local beach. The cottage is well appointed with almost everything you could need. Air conditioning would make this place perfect and allow guests to sleep with the windows closed on nights and mornings when the neighbour has their outdoor radio on. Thank you for a lovely getaway and all of the personal touches.

Cute as a button

This cottage is styled so beautifully - with calming neutral tones & vintage finds. The stone fireplace was nice to have (and pretty to look at) on the chilly nights. It's a very comfortable space to be in! The covered side porch is a nice extension to the living space in warmer weather & a great spot to watch the sunrise over the back field. The front porch is a nice spot to catch the breeze and a wee peek at the lake. Beach access is a short walk away & there are lots of low traffic roads to walk or ride a bike on - you could go all the way into Bayfield if you wanted to.

Relaxing fall getaway

We really enjoyed our time at A Wave From It All. They really provided absolutely everything we needed (all we had to bring was food) and were quick to respond when we couldn't find something. The property was lovely, comfortable, very clean and even nicer than described. The enclosed side patio was perfect for enjoying warm fall days. We (and our pups) also enjoyed exploring the big yard and the nearby beach.

Bayfield in October

We have been going to the Bayfield area for many years but I have never been there in October. The foliage is spectacular and the temperatures were ideal for long walks. Lake Huron is always at it’s best regardless of the season. A Wave from it All cottage was perfect. Just the right size with its open concept. Very comfy for watching Netflix in the evening. For me, coming from a farm, watching the big farm machinery harvesting the soybean and the corn in the surrounding fields pulled at my heart strings. Every day something new. Once the crops were down the Canadian Geese and Wild Turkeys rested/fed in the fields. Spectator to witness so close. All in all an extremely enjoyable stay!!! 😎👏😊
