It is at the absolute end of the island close to walking trails, the chain link (of Maui) the other end of the link is on Stewart Island in Lee Bay. Room was very clean, amenities provided were excellent and you also were provided with a full breakfast. I would without hesitation recommend.

Foveaux Hotel
Exceptionally clean accommodation, run by a truly lovely couple genuinely invested in the wellbeing of their guests and the fluffiest cat I’ve encountered in my life. Very convenient if you are traveling to/ from Stewart Island.

Really enjoyed our stay there,the room was super clean and the staff was very friendly, like that they are pet friendly.I would recommend them for sure.
