“Had a quick trip out to Lake Whitney for a visit. Needed a place to overnight and found this place. Worked out for our needs. It sits out about 10 minutes east/northeast of Whitney on some caliche roads. Was peaceful and relaxing after a day of running around. Nice view and quiet. Bed comfy, a/c worked great (a bit of noise but nothing out of ordinary), and nice big bathroom area for small unit. Had small kitchen stuff with coffee bar, microwave, and small frig. “The host was very nice . The place was nice enough for the price. But I had 3 problems. 1st the internet password was not posted. About 10 text messages to the host and finally got it to work. 2nd the fold out loveseat was way past its usefulness! “The pictures were misleading about this property and there is a terrible cat odor smell upstairs. There is one door that is locked that the smell seems to come from. One day we came back and this door was open and what looked like an old molded mattress was on the floor. There is no pool on property, nor is there access to one. The one listed is 30 minutes way and you do not have access to the pool since it is on another resort. We sat outside on the upstairs patio one night and were eaten...
