The condo has a great location in proximity to the beach. The beach is actually a reef type location but has enough sand entering the ocean if a swim or snorkeling activity is your choice. It does not have a white sand beach such as the Seven Mile Beach located on the island, but the island is set up so you can make a trip to the Seven Mile Beach is so desired. The condo has all the necessary utensils and pots, pans and cooking accessories needed for cooking and dining in. There is a brand new AC unit that was installed so this unit stayed cool and dry so there was no musty smell at all like you get sometimes when traveling to any island. The only hiccup we had was the new AC unit froze over and dripped slightly upstairs. We alerted Livia, the host, and within 1 hour there were techs there and they repaired the problem. Livia is a great host, with great communication skills and for our troubles, offered us a 100.00 dinner coupon for a local restaurant. The furniture is what you typically would expect from a VRBO unit, not top of the line, but also not IKEA. Definitely pickup your internet from your US or other provider before going the the Caymans, as the internet service was a bit spotty across the Island. The condo provides coolers, chairs, some children's snorkeling gear and a few other pool/beach accessories. All the units are individually owned but collectively they provide plenty of pool and beach chairs for lounging about. So no rush to save chairs.
