“The property was in the middle of farm. Nice property. The owner gave us all the information required before through message and route was also mentioned so precise. Without that it would have been difficult to spot the location. The approach from main road to the property which was a stretch of 2 miles is a single car passage, this alone was tricky but the rest of the stay was amazing. ”

“We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful cabin, would love to stay again.The cabin was so cosy and cute we loved it. Everything was amazingly clean, as if we were the first people to use it. “This was our first time visiting Cornwall, and we were looking forward to a relaxing couple of days with the family. Unfortunately, the accommodation left much to be desired. Finding the cottage was challenging as the directions provided were unclear. We ended up having to stop and ask locals for guidance before finally locating it. The cottage itself was pleasant in some ways — we loved the beach-themed décor, and there was a generous selection of books, games, DVDs, and CDs for us to enjoy....

“I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky! The host Michael had sent me a very informative email before our stay and then sent a check-in email during our stay. The park itself is quiet and the lodges aren't on top of each other. Vor Ort zeigte sich dann jedoch, dass das Ferienhaus in Wirklichkeit 35 km von Newquay entfernt und im Landesinneren lag, so dass wir für Ausflüge an die Küste jedesmal eine Autofahrt von 20-30 Minuten machen mussten. “Great location for exploring the area which is so beautiful and varied. Sad the hotel is currently closed. Nice grounds, great outdoor unheated pool. Our lodge was spacious, cosy and clean for 6 people, if rather tired and dated , a few kitchen items down, and only had a one ring cooker. We gave various after -stay feedback to tve host about eg defunct microwave left outside tve property, . We would go again, as lots of plusses but choose a better -equipped lodge with the same company.”
