Beautiful home on Lake Huron. Robert was a great host and was easy to contact and very quick to respond to questions. Wonderful place to relax.

We had a wonderful stay at this location on Boblo and the views of the straits were amazing. Robert was a fantastic host and we look forward to coming back.

Super Location: we loved the large, private, peaceful lakefront with waterbirds, opportunity to paddle, clean shallow water for swimming, gorgeous sunsets, campfire pit. The back porch was a great place to relax and enjoy the view. The island is a quiet beautiful place... no frills, total getaway from it all! We loved it.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this cabin and each time has been wonderful! Robert is a great host to work and communicate with. The cabin was clean and fit our large group perfectly. The whole experience was wonderful and we plan to stay here again in the future!

This year we took our ORV with us. You are able to leave your vehicle on the main land and bring the OVR over on the fairy. It makes traveling around the island a little more fun!

Natural Beauty

This is an impressive log home on a secluded stretch of Lake Huron beach. We saw bald eagles every day along with a sweeping view of the lake. It is definitely a great place for a relaxing getaway.

Island getaway!

This property was beautiful. Fantastic log cabin with amazing views! Spent the entire week truly relaxing in this amazing cabin. Absolutely would recommend and we will be back!

Perfect island getaway

If you want peace and relaxation this is the place. If you like trails and fishing this is also the place. Friendly people, great community feeling on the island and the property was just what we wanted. Steps from the water, smallmouth bite just steps away, and no one in site.

Great Location!

We loved the location, the Gull island right across from the house. Lots of wildlife to see. The property could use some minor upgrades on pans and towels, but everything has been great otherwise!

Couldn't have asked for a better home to rent!!

This was an amazing house and property. Clean and had everything we needed. Was a 2 family vacation with our pets. Was very happy and would recommend this rental to anyone that wants solitude and an amazing view. The bunkhouse will forever be Hawkes own special house
