With front and back porches and a large firepit area, there is plenty of room to sit back, enjoy the scenery in a quiet and peaceful community setting. Two 40 inch tvs, blu ray players and WiFi allow you to stay connected as well.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The home was well stocked and the hosts were some of the kindest people, always responsive! We took our boat and kept it at the dock across the street. The hosts allowed us to use their crab pots and we had a delicious feast of sheepshead, shrimp and crab!The setting is beautiful. The views from the dock are stunning, it looks like a little fishing village.We would stay here again in the future.

Beautifully decorated, spacious yet snug-feeling cottage in a quiet, serene setting. Despite the solitude, you are less than 15 minutes from virtually every amenity you could need: shopping, dining, auto fuel and services, etc. This was our second stay and definitely won’t be the last. Thank you, Chris and Donna!

Second time staying at Hytide, we have enjoyed our stay both times, the cottage is very clean, owners are more than helpful! Highly recommend this place for a vacation getaway!

Very nice, clean and quiet, a wonderful pier across the street.

It is away from all the touristy stuff , but still close to all we needed and some very good restaurants.

This Gem is very cozy and clean. Had everything you would need and close to amazing restaurants. The fishing doc was wonderful with our morning coffee or evening fishing. The dolphins visited us almost every day. Short drive to beach as well!

The property's cleanliness was above and beyond. The cottage had all of the amenities that you might need during your stay. The owners are very friendly and easy to get ahold of. Area surrounding the property was very quiet and safe. Would absolutely come back!

Very nice updated house in a quiet location on the river. Owners could not have been more gracious. Will definitely stay here again.

Relaxing get away

Wonderful quiet location. Close enough to beach and other activities. Super cozy. Loved walking down to the pier and relaxing and reading and watching the birds and boats.

Last minute get away...

We absolutely adored this home and the location. It was so clean and very relaxing. We also loved the fact that we could bring our Yorkie. We will definitely rent this home in the future.

Great place

We had wonderful stay at the cottage. It was peaceful and very quiet. We took our dog Rue and she enjoyed walking down to the the dock. It was a home away from home and highly recommended

EXCELLENT

Incredibly peaceful vacation. My husband and I loved the quaintness and serene cottage and its location !! Sunrise and sunsets from the dock were a daily ritual. The cottage was so well supplied with everything you need when away from home. The hosts were readily available and super kind. Looking forward to going back next year. Oh... fishing was GREAT too !!

Perfect Getaway

The property was exactly as listed. It is a quiet area but close enough to the beach. We loved being able to fish and the grassy area was great for our fur babies. The hosts were great to communicate with and very accommodating. We would definitely stay again. .

Great spot!

My husband, our dog and myself enjoyed our stay a lot. This cottage was the cleanest place we have ever stayed in through VRBO. I know there have been other people that brought their dogs and usually our dog picks up on their scent but she didn't seems to smell anything while we were there so it was cleaned thoroughly before out stay! Nice spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city but not a far drive from everything we wanted to go to. We had a great time here!

Peaceful Vacation

We enjoyed being able to have parking space for our boat, a dock and close proximity to two different boat ramps. Sitting on the dock in the evening was beautiful and peaceful. We saw several dolphins. Owners communicated very well and were quick to respond to any questions.

Quaint and Quiet

The owners are very friendly and involved through getting you prepared to visit! The house has amenities such as spices, tupper ware, ziplocks, etc that you never see at a rental. We were perfectly located to everything in foley and GS and two seafood markets in walking distance were a big plus. You must also eat a Tin Top i cannot tell you have wonderful, you must try it for yourself!

What a great place!

Everything was so clean and the decor was awesome. Much better than the pictures. We went to visit old friends and to fish. The dock across the street was great. Caught catfish and sailors choice. Husband caught a mangrove snapper! It was cool inside the house (70degrees), so I slept great! Cooked steaks on the grill...awesome. Thanks so much for a great place to stay!

Great stay

This cottage was exactly as listed. There are so many good things I can say about this listening from start to finish. Donna was a pleasure to work with. She wanted to ensure that everything was perfect. The cottage was very clean and it had everything we needed. It was so comfortable and cozy that we felt at home. My husband and I needed this getaway and HyTide was the perfect choice for us. Actually, we didnt want to leave. Easy to say we will definitely be back.
