Quiet but plenty to do

The Heaven’s View property was beautiful. The views of the Grandfather Mountain range did not disappoint. The house was clean and just the perfect size for what my family needed. It was very secluded with woods all around but was only a 20 minute drive from Grandfather Mountain State Park, Blowing Rock, and Boone. Truly the perfect balance. The property itself was very clean and the management team was very responsive to any requests or updates regarding the property. If I am looking for another vacation in this area. I will look at this property first.

Cool house in a good, private location

We had an overall great stay at Heavens View. Since it was only two of us we didn't even use the upstairs but it looked nice. The downstairs was set up well with good, comfortable furniture. Outside area was private and set up for some good porch sitting, bonfires, and hot tub worked perfectly. Only issue we ran into was streaming being the only way to watch TV there (no direct TV or DISH). The internet was intermittent and our Verizon hotspots didn't have enough to stream. We are the kind of people that do enjoy a little couch/tv time after a long day of hiking. Obviously, for those that don't care about tv in the mountains this would be a non-issue. Blue Ridge was responsive when we brought this up but pretty much said there wasn't much they could do. It's a very nice house and we had a great vacation but will probably stay somewhere a little closer to town next year and/or somewhere with a different tv setup.

Beautiful location, beautiful view, charming home & property

We had a relaxing time at this property. The king size bed was very comfortable and it is tastefully decorated. The view is gorgeous and the back porch is lovely for eating, relaxing and reading a book. I did have several issues with the property management company. I emailed two days before we arrived to ask if we could check in about 45 minutes early around 3:15 as we needed wifi access for our daughter to take a class remotely for an hour and a half. They said to call the day of checkin and they could tell me if this was possible. We arrived in Boone around 2:30pm and I called the property management company at the number they gave me around 3pm and they were very rude. I asked politely 3 times if we could check in at 3:15 and they kept stating "this is against our policy". I explained 3 times that I had emailed them previously and they had instructed me to call the day of and ask if it was possible and the lady I spoke with was not interested in helping me or even willing to call the cleaning lady to see if she was finished. I had to ask again and then she finally said she would call and then she abruptly hung up on me with no goodbye, no I'll call you back, nothing. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I then called back to speak with customer service and they told me they would look into this but they lady never called back or texted me anything. We also had a problem with the cabin when we arrived as the living room smelled like urine. We asked them to come back and clean the carpet in the living room as the smell of urine overpowered the room when we were sitting there and they NEVER came back to do anything the ENTIRE week. I also emailed them and they responded but never came to do anything so each day and night as we watched TV, sat in the living room, etc. we smelled urine the entire time. If I were the owners of this property, I would find a new property management company as they are not attentive to your guests who are paying top dollar to rent your property. I have never had such a poor experience with contacting a management company in my life.
