Family Weekend

A spacious home in a beautiful community with outstanding views from the deck as well as the kitchen. All around the home was nicely furnished with comfortable seating and comfy beds. We were all impressed with how everything was labeled in the kitchen as well as all the light switches. Ideal house to enjoy the amenities to do your own cooking. The communication with the owners went extremely smooth. We would consider renting this house again. If you travel with a toddler you do need to have a gate for the staircase. It was great that the home had a high chair and pack and play. A visit to Grandfather Mountain is a must!Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Vacation Perfection

Stunning views, clean and well-appointed home, amenities on amenities... the pictures don't even do it justice. This place was perfection. It was well-stocked, easy to navigate with helpful (but inconspicuously posted) labels and instructions, and it was cozy but still felt spacious. I traveled with my husband and my elderly mother with mobility issues. The main floor is definitely manageable if you have an older family member. The front steps are a bit tall and the main floor bed is a bit high... but if you bring a step with you to assist, your family member should be fine. Checking in was incredibly easy, and I felt so comfortable and informed with all the literature they send you in advance. It was a short trip, so we didn't manage to make it to the pool, but the trails closest to the house were lovely, and there's a perfect little pavilion just steps away from the home. If you're looking for peak relaxation, the hot tub, fireplaces, and stunning morning coffee views will get you there in a heartbeat. I'm already trying to plan another trip with some other couples for this summer. Yes, I'm chomping at the bit to get back in the same season... Book. It.

Relaxing mountain spring break

Enjoyed the house and the amenities of the neighborhood-especially Pickleball. Our only complaint would be that it was really windy on several of the days there-but nothing that anyone could control.

New years holiday

Everything very nice. Two problems. The dishwasher didn’t work and the great room fireplace pilot was faulty. Unless my son was literally there to do it manually, we could not start the fire. We were not supplied with the checkin door code and arrived 1:00AM from thee different locations and two countries. The house is beautiful and wonderfully located!

Perfect for family Christmas!

Lovely home and neighborhood with incredible views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Home was fully equipped and accommodations were excellent. Great hiking trails, outdoor game area (pickleball, bocce etc) right outside the door! Loved our visit!!

Beautiful Home-Beautiful View

This hime is lovely. The kitchen has every appliance, dish,gadget etc you can think of. The beds are all super comfortable. We loved having a master on main and lower level. The whole house was spotless and the view is awesome. The owner was so very attentive. If I have one complaint it would be that it is 30 minutes from grocery store etc I would certainly recommend this home

Wonderful everything!

This is our favorite place we’ve ever stayed on our annual Christmas tree trip. The house is so beautiful. It is well equipped with everything in the kitchen you need. It is super clean. It felt like we were staying at a spa. Location was wonderful right beside pickleball courts, a giant fire pit and a pavilion to hang out. We will definitely be returning!!

Wonderful weekend!

We enjoyed our “multigenerational” girls weekend at the cottage! The house is amazing, great views, lovely community. We spent lots of time on the porch, went on walks and even ate at the Lookout Grill one evening. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were easily accessible!

Family Weekend in the Mountains

This was our 2nd stay in this cottage. Cottage is exactly as described. Views are fabulous! Cottage is very nice and the amenities are great. From the game room to the Pickle Ball Courts just a short walk away. Will definitely return for another visit!

Favorite Stay in Blowing Rock

The owner was very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We couldn’t ask for a better location at the Mountain Club. Close proximity to the amenities and the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!

A wonderful home with beautiful views

We stayed at this beautiful home with our family, which included an 18-month-old grandchild. What a fantastic week we had!!!! The kitchen was FULLY stocked with everything you would need to cook gourmet meals. The decks had amazing mountain views. The home itself was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. All of us thought the beds were very comfortable. There was a cute bedroom that we didn't use but would be perfect for a teen/tween. Loved the game room (had a lot of pinball competitions). Since we did have a baby, we brought stair gates....which is a must have if you have a toddler. The amenities were fantastic. We had two wonderful meals at the Lookout restaurant. Although I didn't use the spa, my son-in-law said it was perfect! Check in and check out was easy and the owners sent us an information package that was very helpful. We will surely be back!!!

Great mountain home.

Home is well furnished with almost every accessory of amenity you could wish for. With family rooms on both floors and 4 bedrooms it would be great for 2 couples or a family with children. The VRBO listing is accurate is describing all the amenities including a garage converted to a game room.The host was easy to reach and answered any questions quickly. Truly a 5 star residence which provided us with a very nice mountain visit.

Gorgeous property & awesome experience!!

We absolutely loved this property, the location and the entire Blue Ridge community experience! We used the brand new pool, the hot tub was fantastic, the game room was frequented by us and was tons of fun- the house was clean and Super well stocked. Highly recommend it - was an amazing vacation. Loved it loved and the views are insanely fabulous too!!! Love!!!

Great place

Home is beautiful. Great extra touches such as starter paper towels, toilet paper, coffee, shampoo, etc. Location is hugely convenient to one of the common areas with bocce court, pavilion, and seasonal lunch food truck. Highly recommend!

Relaxing week in the mountains

We spent a wonderful week at this lovely home in early June. We visited with our 2 children and my inlaws and the set up of the house was perfect! Both adult couples got their own master suite, my daughter LOVED the captain's quarters, and my son got the third bedroom. It was great having 3 common areas/game rooms to spread out in and relax. The house is beatiful, clean, and very well appointed -- there was nothing we really could think of to add or that was missing! The location was really nice -- 30 mins to downtown Boone and 25 to downtown Blowing Rock. We ate at the neighborhood club restaurant 2 times for dinner and had solid meals both times. The house is next to an common area with a nice grassy area and some outdoor games (Pickleball, Boccee, horseshoes) and they had a food truck there daily from 11am-3pm which was a nice surprise and made for a nice lunch. We would definitely recommend this place and fully agree with the consistent 5 star reviews!!!

Relaxing Mountain Getaway

This weekend rental exceeded our expectations. A very clean, cozy and rustic cottage featuring a great outdoor space with beautiful long range views. The host provided all information needed and was very responsive. Highly recommended!

Little piece of heaven

We booked this beautiful cottage as a last minute, extended stay. It was extremely clean, well decorated, and felt like home. It is a vert short walk to the park with a great outdoor area, including pickleball courts. Everywhere in the neighborhood are areas with incredible views, but one of our favorites was right off the back deck! Our host was incredibly kind and helpful. If you are thinking of booking this house, just do it!
