We visited Mystery Hill and it is something I think about when describing this region. We rented this house for a quick two night ski trip and it worked great for our family of 6. We had kids ages 8, 6, 4 and 18 months. It was only 7 minutes from the App Ski Mountain which was super helpful. For our 18 month, there was a pack n' play in the master closet that was huge and worked great for place for him to have his "own room" and to not have to use our own pack n play. He slept 13 hours straight which he doesn't do always, so it was a win! The big kids loved the hot tub. We would definitely recommend this house!

My wife and I were joined by her brother and his wife to celebrate my wife's birthday. We chose Boone to get away from the central Florida excessive heat and thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Knotty Pine Cabin providing a great environment and the weather only maxed out at 75 degrees. We had a little rain during the week but it did not lessen our enjoyment of the stay, the house or Boone. The house is supplied with all of the necessities and many additions that were definitely not necessities but very much appreciated and added to the warm welcome.

Escape the heat in Boone

My wife, dog and I spent three nights at this wonderful home in late July in order to escape the stifling heat in Raleigh. It more than met our expectations. The home was well maintained, very clean, and thoughtfully furnished with many solid wood pieces of furniture. The kitchen had granite countertops and was loaded with appliances. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch with my wife.

Amazing location and super clean home!

The home was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was close to a lot of stores and restaurants, but also secluded enough where it felt quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed all the activities in the home, like starting a campfire and playing ping ping or foosball! We’d definitely come back if we are ever in the area!

Good location. Close to Boone. Off main road. Will need AWD to get onto property during snow/ice/freeze. Clean and well maintained. Great internet. Hot tub functioned well and very large. Make sure to turn it up and then down when you leave. HVAC worked well. Turn Heat on and then off later. Spacious. Right across from App. Ski resort. We also went to Beech.

Perfect weekend getaway

House was super clean on arrival and check in process explained everything!! This house is perfect for a family or friend weekend! Although the snow stopped us from building a fire outside, we sure enjoyed the hot tub and the inside fireplace!!! I would give this place 10 stars on location!! Straight in the middle of Blowing Rock and Boone!! Very convenient!! Would recommend staying here!!

Thanksgiving Weekend Tradition

Very clean and cozy. Easy to access. Convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. My husband and I rent a cabin every Thanksgiving weekend and my daughter, her husband and 3 grandchildren come to find the perfect Christmas tree. Perfect weekend filled with good food and sweet memories.

Long Weekend Getaway

The five of us snuck away for a long weekend, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The location is between Boone and Blowing Rock, offering easy access to both. The house was clean and efficient. It has everything to offer home convenience without the extras you don't need or want. The basement was a great space for the youngsters to play, while the firepit and hot tub offered just enough outdoor activity. 5/5 would choose to stay here again.
